Went there, today,very quiet,a few people there,nice sand, and water shallow, water freezing of course, temperature mild 22 degrees,so nice for kids, or people who cannot swim.and apparently public toilets above the beach, short walk ,if U young , or old , but not good if U have problems walking, but generally, very good , I had a picnic , just in front , of the waves, so good Allround experience.

This beach typically has a small drop (hip height on me; 5'5) and then a sandbar (back to knee height) which i imagine makes it good for families. This also makes the water a little warmer.Some seaweed, sandy water with shelly, silty sand with sporadic rock and buried reef. Be cautious where you put your feet but most of it is fairly rounded. Apparently occasionally harmless jellies but no other wildlife to speak of.Not the *prettiest* of beaches but certainly quite a wonderful place for a dip!

Njce little Beach. Great views of the bay to admire the view or to watch the ships and boats going by. Good walking track which goes some distance. Good place to check out
