Sublime Blinds And Shutters Qld

During our consultation we were advised that turnaround from deposit to installation was 5 – 6 weeks but often as little as 3 weeks. Our blinds were installed 4 months after our initial deposit was made.During this period, we made multiple attempts to contact Sublime's office via both email and phone. Our emails were rarely responded to and the office number was never answered, it went to voicemail every time and we never received a return phone call.On the day of our installation appointment, no one arrived. We tried to contact the Sublime office but, as usual, no one answered. An hour after installation was due to commence, we received a phone call advising that the installer would not make it and the appointment was cancelled. We were only offered one alternate date.After the blinds were finally installed, we noticed that they were slowly opening on their own. We had to schedule multiple appointments to get this issue rectified. After the second of which, we received a phone call from Sublime asking if our blinds were adjusted correctly. We confirmed that they seemed to be working correctly now, but that we were overall unhappy with the service provided and that we would send an email detailing our experience in writing. Later that day, before any email was sent, we received a text message from Shane threatening to remove the blinds if payment was not made. We had never mentioned not paying. Shane ended up offering a small discount from the final bill as compensation for our troubles.Dealing with Sublime Blinds and Shutters caused us considerable stress, wasted time and lost earnings. We had to reschedule other building works, rearrange work schedules and delay personal events to accommodate Sublime. At one point, we genuinely believed that Sublime had taken our money with no intention of providing anything in return. The final product is satisfactory but the experience was not worth the stress.Edit:Regarding the response below, all phone calls and emails we received from Sublime were answered, and Shane recorded the information during our initial consult, so any communication delays were the fault of Sublime.

We signed up on the spot for Plantation Shutters due the product quality, professionalism of the sales consultant and of course, the affordable pricing. the install was flawless. I couldn't be happier!

I got Outdoor blinds and Plantation shutters.The service was exceptional from start to finish!I knew what was happening with my order from the get go, and the turn around from when I signed to the day they were installed was very fast!Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Even though it was a small family owned business, they worked the same as the bigger companies I have dealt with whilst building my house.

Love this product. Our outdoor blinds look amazing. Not only added value but no more pesky winds or untimely showers to disturb us while watching TV on the back deck. Will order some more.

I contacted Shane about having shutters installed and found he and Jodie great to deal with. Shane kept us up to date as to where manufacture was up to and expected installation dates etc. The job is now finished and we are really happy with the final product. They look great and really help with temperature control of the rooms they're in. Our installer Ryan was on time, polite and left everything neat and tidy. We are now saving for shutters in other parts of the house and will definitely use Sublime again.

Shane and Jodie are amazing, I’ll always support local businesses I had other quotes and it was all pressure selll.Shane never pushed for the sale but they come in cheap and I’ll always support locals.Don’t go anywhere else than sublime they are the best

Shane and Jodie were professional from the star, I wouldn’t go anywhere else and love supporting small business.We had other quotes and pressured us to sign on the day.We had outdoor blinds and plantations shutters installed I couldn’t recommend any higher

STAY CLEAR OF SUBLIME BLINDS!!!Shane tried to rip me off with an $8k quote for 7 roller blinds. He quickly dropped it by 40% as part of his sales ploy. Start high and settle low and the customer thinks they are getting a good deal!! He eventually dropped it to $4500 when he realised I wasn’t going to give him the job on the spot but I told him to please put it in writing and I will get other quotes.I did get other quotes that both came in well under $2000.Needless to say I have not received a quote from Sublime as Shane realised he had shot himself in the foot. No point pursuing my business as he knew what the true price I would be quoted.I feel so disappointed that my good nature was played on in such a dishonest way.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SUBLIME BLINDS.
