4.5 stars.!Well positioned half way up a shallow hill with lovely views. A few v.good wines and one magnificent Riesling/ 2016 (sadly out of our price range).Our Kellnerin" provided good info... & with a sense of humour. Early start is the trick:)Stein organic small goods (Chilli salami =brilliant) were our favourite of the day and we took a good bundle home...100% recommend.The Motorbike museum was a great addition.Vielen Dank für einen Schönen tag Schmeckend."

Sensational wines and lovely hosts. They welcomed our large group even without a booking and we had 3 dogs which they were more than happy to accommodate us.

Booking a tasting session of six wines for $10 was a bargain. Anita gave one the most knowledgeable and concise presentations on each wine. Teamed with a charcuterie board of exceptional local produce, the session was more like a degustation experience. The motorcycle display in the adjacent display area and daredevil racing photos of Stein senior provided a context to this amazing family business. Cassandra's efforts gardening around the pumphouse and genuine hospitality of Anita made this one of my most enjoyable visits to a vineyard. It was impossible to leave without buying some of the wines tasted.

Best cellar door we tried in Mudgee. All the wines had distinct flavours and lived up to their reputation and tasting notes. Anita was very friendly and accommodating and made the whole family feel welcomed. Favourite was the Sparkling Pinot Noir and Shiraz Riesling.

Dropped in for a tasting and it was an amazing experience with Sarah. Great wine knowledge and a very interesting line up. Highly recommend as a must when visiting Mudgee wineries!

Great little place, we had a wine tasting ($10 pp) which allows you to choose 6 of thier wines for a flavour flave.We also got the cheese board platter thing, there were 2 options, big ($40) and small ($20). We got the small which had a nice little assortment of goodies on there to nibble at.Some standouts for us with the wine were the organic Shiraz and dry resling. They did have a number of decent other ones in the selection too.They also have a cool little motorbike museum out the back as well that has a decent collection of vintage motor bikes, war memorabilia and licence plates...Worth a visit when travelling through.

Understated winery with some seriously great wines. The wine tasting session was excellent with amazing and generous hosts even if lacking a tad with theatre..The stars of the winery are definitely their wine - the 2018 Shiraz had complexity and balance, the Cabernet Sauvignon was bold, the Merlot was very easy drinking material...The 2020 Riesling was gorgeous.Definitely worth visiting when in Mudgee.

This has to be my favourite cellar door in Mudgee. The pours were quite generous and you never felt rushed. Make sure you book ahead for either the restaurant or cellar door as this place is popular. They don't normally let you taste the sparkling Shiraz but that was the highlight of their wines. The Rieslings are outstanding and so was the Shiraz voigner. I highly recommend a visit

Since we went in Christmas holidays. Most wineries were closed. On a friend’s recommendation we had gone here for a wine tasting. The restaurant was shut but we did the wine tasting. Staff is friendly, attentive and had good knowledge about the wines. We bought few good wines after the tasting. They have won awards for few of their wines like Reisling. If you are in Mudgee. This winery is a must try. They also have a vintage motorbike museum .
