OFF London Hair

My hairdresser was lovely, and helped get my hair to the perfect colour. However there was no discussion of the difference between demi and permanent colour nor was I asked which I’d prefer (I was just booked for demi) and I wasn’t given any info about how long the colour would last. So it was pretty disappointing to pay so much money to have the colour all but washed out in 7 weeks. Had the difference been explained to me and my expectations been managed a bit more, I wouldn’t have been left so disappointed so soon. I also told the stylist a few times I’d never done an all over colour or tried this colour, so I assumed that would have prompted her to go a bit more in depth about anything I should know.

Edit: I have been coming to offLondon for a few years and have adored every cut I have had there. Management and many stylists go above and beyond for the client BUT now on 3 seperate occasions I have paid premium prices for subpar colouring on my hair and after my appointment this weekend to fix what can be fixed following my most recent visit, I will not be returning.The most recent issue todays root shadow and toner which turned my light creamy blonde with 8 weeks of dark blonde regrowth into a blotchy mess with patches of brown halfway down the hair and an ashy grey tone I specifically said I didn't want. My result is a muddy and very ashy blonde which doesn't blend with the warm tone brown roots at all, ruining my hard work on achieving my previously creamy blond.I have already reached out to organise an appointment to fix it ASAP which is hugely appreciated. However, I shouldn't find myself in a position for the third time where I need it fixed.***Original: Bec at Off London is an absolute genius who made my 5+ hour colour correction feel like an hour in paradise. Her eye for detail was beyond that of any stylist I have yet to meet and her skills are exemplary. The whole staff were kind, attentive and knowledgeable; with a special mention to Adam who took the time to find the right products for me whilst not trying to upsell the most expensive items which made me feel values rather than just a source of profit. By far my best salon experience.

Exceptional staff and service. I don’t see any one person regularly per se as my schedule is chaotic and it doesn’t matter, each and every person and cut/colour is exactly what I hoped. I love the warmth of the environment, and very impressed they’ve taken me from black-to-blonde (and my hair is still in great condition)!

Have been coming to Off London for a while now absolutely amazing team, all very friendly and talented from walking in and being greeted either by Kat, Rob or Adam, to having cocktails or coffee from Lincoln, while waiting for my stylist. I book with whoever is available as my grey hairs come through rather fast therefore I’ve had my hair done by a few of the team, Tayla, Claudia, Jayde, Beth, Natalie. They’re all amazing and very talented. They have all educated me on how to maintain my colour and the health of my curly hair. The team at off London know how to give me what I’m after as I do struggle to explain how I’d like my hair to look. Being curly I’m not always certain on what would be the best for my hair type.Highly recommend.

The kindness and customer service is wonderful! I didn't see any change in color with the first balayage, they asked me to come back to repeat the job free of charge. When I was there they told me that I had to pay again... I liked the end result with the second tried☺️. However honesty and transparency are important values. I had the best time getting my hair done at Off London! The staff were extremely welcoming and did an amazing job on my hair. My hair looks and feels amazing after a much needed cut and colour! I will definitely be back!! ☺️

You would not want to have this experience in your first visit to a hair salon at all. I am quite disappointedLara was a lovely person attending to my keratin hair treatment. However she was asked to attend to another job midway of applying keratin. I was lef unattended for about 40 minutes. The rest of keratin was applied after.This was not a fault of Lara. The manager/ supervisor should manage the workflow responsibly and ethically. This is totally unacceptable.

Annalise did my hair today. I am so happy with it!! I'm usually quite disappointed leaving the hairdresser's but Annalise completely understood what I wanted and did it so quickly! So glad I tried this Salon out today, totally recommend.I'm a happy blonde now, thanks :)

I saw Natalie today and she was amazing! I wanted something a little unconventional and she took the time to listen to what I wanted and checked in while she was cutting to ensure I was happy, and then made any minor adjustments I asked for. I have the exact haircut I asked for, couldn’t be happier and the price was SO reasonable for the time and effort taken! Thank you so much!

Really upset with off London. Had a consultation with Taylor regarding different types of hair extensions and to get their recommendations on what to do with my hair. I was recommended to use Great Lengths Extensions for my hair type, hair quality etc.I trusted the stylist’s advice and went ahead with the Great lengths Extensions (I was told approximately 35 extensions were needed for what I was trying to achieve) I showed her photos of what I wanted which was a short blunt bob (no layers) the stylist decided to cut them how she saw fit. I left the salon unhappy that day with the cut and felt the extension weren’t the right colour to match my hair.After the 1st wash (48 hour later) 4 extension fell out and after about 3-4 days another few fell out which left my hair gappy and looked shocking. So I rang the salon to tell them I wasn’t happy with the cut, colour and how 7+ extensions fell out and I needed to come back in so they can look at it and fix it which they agreed to.Once I arrived and after a small argument and me breaking down in tears as I felt they didn’t really care about what I was experiencing and denying things that was said they finally agreed to replace the extension that fell out and put a few extras in free of charge.That day I left the salon feeling better and was under the understanding all should be fine now they have replaced some of the extensions. I didn’t wash them for the 1st 48 hours and but when I did wash them for the 2nd time they started to fall out.I was devastated. So again I rang the salon and requested to speak to the manager as I was so unhappy that the extensions were falling out again. I was told he would call me back straight away the next day still had not heard anything so I had to ring again. Finally spoke with Robbie (the manager) who basically advised me they are probably falling out as my hair is “fragile”‘and “damaged” from the previous salon I went to and there was nothing more they could do for me. Was told “Great lengths are just not for you we have learnt.”I believe that the extension should of not been put in my hair if my hair was so “fragile” and “damaged” and that the extensions were going to fall out in a week.I believe the stylist should of advised me of this and that this may happen but I was never explained any of these things.I would of appreciated their professional opinion and for them to tell me extensions are not suitable for me.I will never go back to this salon. I feel as professionals they should of just told me the honest truth not get me to waste 100’s of dollars!!!!! I am so so upset with this salon. It’s now been 2 weeks since they replaced the extension and I’m down to 3 extension. HOW IS THIS OK?Wanted to do this review in hope it doesn’t happen to someone else.
