If you are seriously interested in becoming a celebrant, I highly recommend choosing Qualtrain. A large part of the course is conducted in person, allowing for direct feedback and practical experience which you would not receive by just doing an online course on it's own. The trainers are all easy going and very experienced/knowledgable. It was also a wonderful opportunity to make new friends on the course, sharing the experience and supporting one another!

I completed my annual Marriage Celebrant OPD training with Kirk yesterday, and it was fantastic. In 14 years it was the most enjoyable OPD session I have ever attended. Kirk was engaging and presented the content in a relevant and relaxed manner, encouraging conversation and discussion throughout the day. I highly recommend Kirk and QualTrain Australia!

Would highly recommend Qualtrain. Excellent presenter in Karen Faa. In spite of COVID shutdown in SE Qld., Qualtrain was still able to deliver an exceptional OPD with the help of Zoom conferencing and the Novotel Hotel in Cairns. Much appreciated.

I recently had my second OPD ever with Qualtrain and can't recommend them any further! This first one was in 2018 with Mr Ditchburn and his suave approach to the subjects (and on some less than inclusive celebrants) made a mark on me - it is possible to be assertive, elegant and polite at the same time. This year, Mr Goodsell gave us a masterclass sharing his enormous experience with us and guiding a very enriching discussing among different kinds of celebrants.Qualtrain has delivered once again a wonderful OPD experience!

Karen Faa from QualTrain Australia presented an excellent OPD Training Day on Sunday 16 August 2021. The material we covered was very useful in our careers as celebrants and Karen has a way of keeping everyone interested with her light hearted humour and communication skills but at the same time covering all topics on time. I like the way she encourages audience participation and her use of music during the day. Another great day!.

I’ve completed the funeral course and almost finished the marriage course. I loved the whole experience. Nathaniel and Carol have a wealth of knowledge to share.The face to face lessons are a wonderful way of gaining experience through performing multiple ceremonies within a group situation. The online learning system is clear and easy to navigate allowing you to complete modules at your own pace.I’m excited to finish the course and apply to become an Authorised Celebrant knowing that I will still have QualTrain’s support should I need it. I would highly recommend anyone who would like to become a celebrant to enrol with Qualtrain.
