Been with MATE NBN for the past 5 years but the recent outage that lasted for nearly 24hrs was unacceptable as I work from home and require a reliable internet connection. Despite receiving a SMS this morning saying the outage has been fixed, I still had no internet. I tried calling and waited an hour on hold but eventually gave up. The automated message while on hold advised to go to your website and chat online but your online chat wasn't available either. Extremely frustrating and terrible service.I will now be changing to Tangerine NBN.

I had issues with my internet services recently and contacted the tech support at mate services. Support team member Ozzie resolved and restored our internet services very patiently. He is very professional and approachable. He was very strong technically and knew all steps that were required to resolve the issue.

Frank the Customer Support who has been very patient, helpful, the kindest soul, who put in the extra-mile of helping me to transition and move to Mate’s internet plan smoothly. He even arranged for the day when the internet shutdown will occur to accommodate best schedule, with less interference as much as possible since I am a work from home employee.Michelle another Customer Support is brilliant and such a blessing, when she recommended us wifi-mesh to boost internet connectivity and stability at home, to this very day we have been so happy with the result!

Spoke to Jacob from MATE and he was amazing! No, not in that way dirty minded people! lolMate customer service has always been fantastic and we have been using Mate as our Internet Service Provider for four years across several homes and we have never had any issues with them. I highly recommend them!

I originally had given a 5 star review.I've been with MATE for over 12 months. Am now disillusioned with the amount of drop-outs and technical issues that have been occurring every couple of months up in SE QLD.It is fantastic that the service centre is Australia-operated and the customer experience has been great.But customer service isn't the key factor in an internet experience. Stability in speed and internet service is what matters and it seems MATE has dropped the ball here.

MATE HAVE THE BEST SERVICE!I love Mate Communicate. Easy to get thru to if theres any issue. I’ve just spoken to lovely Angela and she sorted my home phone out efficiently and with professionalism. She was friendly, polite and enthusiastic. It was fixed with a smile. This is why I tell everyone about Mate Communicate. Customer Service is exemplary and a pleasure to connect with. Was with MATE for around 6 years and was previously happy with the service, but in the last year, speeds and reliability have dropped dramatically, evening speeds drop to less than 1MB at times and there are constant connection drops and outages.Outages are poorly communicated, the website isn't up to date with the latest issues and the phone line always has ridiculous wait times.The last two weeks (of 18+ hour outages) have pushed me to another provider, who so far have been absolutely brilliant, activated within two days, 140+ MBPS speeds in the evening and responsive customer service.Sort it out, MATE.

..connected before my new Modem turned up, and no internet….but no problem, got a call back from Sicilia in Tech Support, and she was awesome! Guided me through the reconfiguration of the old modem to get reconnected, and “BAM”, we’re back online. Thanks Sicilia, you’re a credit to the Mate team !!
