Early Settler Preston

Sadly not the greatest customer serviceSharon an older lady there doesn't appear to like working in retail really not sure why she is there. The least helpful and no where near friendly - at first our first encounter I thought she was having a bad day however upon revisiting the store her attitude was the same.Luckily second time round we were served by a lovely gentleman named Brent - If it werent for his amazing customer service we would not have bought from them.

I visited the Northland Early Settlers and found what I never thought I would find at the price I did, a mid century modern vanity that I can not wait to install! Great variety of items for all around the home and the customer service was great too. I will visit again soon!

Old cranky menopausal woman.If you don't like your job go find another jobpeople are out there wanting to buy furniture to make their own home a beautiful place, yet on the hunt for some furniture faced with rudeness, negativity, disrespect and the worst disgusting faces everyou should be ashamed of yourselves, sad business, repulsive attitudeyou've ruined our day and made us hate shopping that day

I would give them zero star if I could. I purchased a lamp 3 weeks ago and was told it was in stock in the warehouse. I was told it would arrive in the store the following Tuesday. I rang the store after 2 weeks since I hadn’t heard from anyone and was told somebody has forgotten to put the lamp on the truck and that it would be done in the following week’s delivery. I asked if they could send it by courier and was told that I would have to pay $100 for the courier. They stuff up and they expect me to pay $100 for a courier!!!! I agreed to wait another week as I was assured it would be in the following week’s delivery. I called again since I hadn’t heard from anyone and I was told that the lamp was not put on the truck. AGAIN!!! This is now 3 weeks in a row that this incompetent organisation has not sent my lamp. Still no offer of them sending it by courier since they have stuffed up. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. No customer service whatsoever!!! Stay clear of these people .

Disgusting and unprofessional staff. Not only were my fiancé and I ignored by these bigots first time walking into the store; we also had the door locked in our faces. Coming back to the store after deciding to disregard the mistreatment of the staff and rather focus on the product we intended to purchase; a rude and clearly Untrained old woman locked the door ten minutes to closing time as my fiancé had his hand on the handle - must have been some awkward eye contact! You clearly have no interest or pride in where you work, I feel sorry for you - either retire or get a job better suited to you.

We have been renovating our house and have gone Early Settler Preston on many many occasions, it's my wife's favourite store. Sharon, a sales person there is so helpful and a delight to deal with. We have purchased a couple of vanities, a bath, light fittings, mirrors and so many odds and ends there...a fantastic place to visit and shop

We've purchased a few items from Early Settlers Northland and so far we haven't been disappointed.Bought some furniture with the advisr from Janet B. today who was extremely helpful. We're extremely happy with our product and price and will definitely be back again.

I read all the reviews regarding Early Settler at Northland, some were happy reviews, some were not so happy and some were down right nasty.I don't go by that, I still like to give something a go.For a while now I've been wanting to buy a desk and wardrobe for my daughter's bedroom. The style I'm interested in is French Provincial.So when I saw it advertised at Early Settler, I decided to go and visit the store.SHARON the wonderful lady I spoke to at the desk, was very helpful and I did end up purchasing the desk and wardrobe to my delight.Overall my experience was a good one with Early Settler and with SHARON'S great customer service.I will definitely be back, Early Settler stock lots of beautiful furniture and as I was walking out my eye caught another piece of furniture which I simply must have, a beautiful, plush doggy bed.I have a funny feeling, I'll be back soon.☺️

I went in and eventually asked for help from a tall guy with massive lobes. This guys customer service is 100%. When I couldn't quite find the right thing I needed he had several recommendations at the ready that may have suited my needs and the advice was on point. I ended buying 4 pieces and left a happy customer.My only gripe is that I was unable to do click and collect to their homemaker store in northland, you could only select their warehouse which is in the middle of nowhere...

I highly wouldn’t recommend this place, real rude customer service I’ve ever seen before. I don’t know how these people have been employed, I would be in embarrassed if I was the person in charge who employed these people. They’re not even fit to commence this sort of work. The most ridiculous thing also was selling faulty items and claiming they’re working, the person who sold this item told me that the item was working, after founding out the item was faulty after purchase. Please don’t waste your money at Early Settler, Preston.
