Did not realize change of ownership until we visited. Sour, sad and abrupt customer service, sums it up. Certainly a far cry from previous owner. Will not revisit.They need to brush up on people skills being front service hospitality.Were pointed to a menu in a most unprofessional manner when we asked, cutlery placed in a pile for guests to sort and no welcome smile!What a shame!

I wasn't overly happy with this place.The food and service was a bit average, yet the coffee was great. Taking into account there was clearly a new staff member taking the orders however didn't receive much help and therefore didn't ask me any of the typical questions eg. do you want your sandwich toasted" or "do you want cream or icecream with your brownie" and when trying to get any of this to happen was all too hard and a waste of time. The area is nice especially with the library next door and a small pond/lake to walk around

It’s the best option when you are in the library. Expensive than other restaurants. But I would still get a coffee or brekki or even lunch if I’m in the library. Friendly staff and kids friendly.

They serve these lava muffins that’s all melts in the middle like a lava cake. I suppose that’s what muffins are anyway, mini cakes.Coffee was delicious as was the braised pork and vegetables with rice. The broth was super tasty like it’s been prepared over days.Great setting between the Library and gallery.

First timer there brought by a friend.Cafe is spacious and with good cooling system.Menu is simple and easy to decide.Dishes are well presented and freshly prepared.We ordered 6 dishes with varieties. All are deliciously prepared. All six of us like the food. We continue with coffee & cakes.Had a nice afternoon. Will come again and recommend to others.Well done. Regards.

Ordered the Tempura Prawns. So disappointed. Crumbed prawns would be betterdescription. And more crumb than prawn., My Mum's dumpling soup was amazing. Meals were out very quickly. Service great. Will return.

Coffee isn’t great. Old school coffee that was pretty tasteless. Maybe I was expecting more because of other reviews raving about the coffee. Unsure about the food but wouldn’t come for coffee. Environment next to the gallery is nice but the air con noise is distracting.

The previous reviews may be for the past iteration of this cafe, which was an Asian fusion cafe called Chumanchu. It has since closed and this excellent, but oddly unnamed, cafe has taken its place.Currently, the cafe offers Western-style gourmet meals and pastries. The prices are certainly premium but the quality is obvious. Likely the best quality cafe food of its kind in Wheelers Hill.The woman who served me was very lovely. It’s bright and quiet, an ideal spot for reading or studying.
