Mumma got skills

Love, love, love Mumma Got Skills' craft workshops! I have so much fun meeting other Mummas in a relaxing environment while our bubs play nearby and we get busy crafting. Bub and I use our Hungry Caterpillar themed #totebag for weekly library trips, our #sensorybottles as awesome #music shakers and our #fingerpuppets for #storytime.Carlie is a fantastic #teachermum with a focus on #sensorylearning and #learningmadefun for #babyplay. Her knowledge and encouragement is the support we all need in that first year with a newborn!I can't wait to join one of her Mummas only events :)

I started coming to Carlie's classes as a mum of an 8 week old. I was pretty much signing up to everything that allowed me to take a baby along. After a few months plenty of activities got left behind, but Carlie's workshops are still a must do for me. It is a wonderful environment for a bubba, and the craft tasks themselves are appropriate additions to your bubba's life. Today I did quilling, a skill I was absolutely positive I would fail at, but with Carlie's great guidance (and help with baby girl!) I walked out with a masterpiece!!! My hubby thinks my new found mumma skills are totally sexy and I have a huge sense of pride at what I create for my little one (whilst after having a lot of fun doing it!). I could not rate how much I enjoy these classes high enough!!!

I attended a Poly and Pop evening recently and absolutely loved it. I organised a group of 5 girlfriends, we bought champagne to drink with the delicious food provided, and created some gorgeous earrings. Carlie was great at explaining how to make them, and so enthusiastic and encouraging. I'd recommend the workshop, whether you're on your own or with friends. Love my earrings and have already been getting positive comments about them!

100% Reccomend! When my friend asked me to come along with her to a mothers craft group, as a non crafty person, I honestly thought I'd be wayyyyy out of my depth but it turned out I got much more out of the sessions than I ever expected.The class attracted some awesome fellow Mums, providing lots of fun, interesting and supportive conversations and often great advice. While my baby enjoyed interacting with the other bubs each week!It was so wonderful to be in such a supportive environment, where every one is going through the same challenges and felt amazing to be able to actually complete a task from start to finish despite natural interruptions.Craft projects were very fun to make as well as use with my girl once completed and I suprised myself with how good they turned out. Big variety of quality materials, and Carlie was a wonderful guide and helped me learn so many new skills throughout the workshops.Wonderful for mental health and as a bonus, equally important, good coffee and yummy cake!

Carlie ran a craft workshop for my daughter’s 6th birthday and it was amazing! The girls loved it, were totally engaged and got their very own tote bags to take home with them. I have been to a Poly and Pop workshop also and it was so much fun! Carlie explains everything so clearly and provides all the materials you need to make the coolest earrings. I cannot recommend Mummas Got Skills highly enough!

I organized a private workshop with my mother’s group and Carlie was fantastic! She comes to you and brings everything that you need! Carlie is helpful, passionate and vibrant. It was great to do something with our bubs, be a bit creative and have something to keep. Prices are really reasonable and we all had a great time. Highly recommend Mumma Got Skills!

My daughter and I had the loveliest time at these workshops! We did 2 x 6 week stints and looked forward to them every week. What Carlie has created is a beautiful thing - for mums to chat and have a crack at craft, for bebes to roll around and play - a safe space for everyone to be themselves. Loved it, and highly recommend it for all new mums.
