I spent a wonderful 12 days at the hospital after surgery. The nursing and physio staff were brilliant and absolutely cared about your well-being. Rooms were excellent and clean. The food was extremely good and great variety to choose from. I cannot recommend this hospital high enough.

Dr Krishnamoorthy removed all four of my wisdom teeth under general anesthesia last Thursday at Canberra Private. All staff were absolutely lovely, caring, and patient. I can get anxious before medical procedures, but all nurses, the anesthetist, and the doctor himself were fantastic. I'm four days post op and I'm no great deal of pain. Thank you to everyone at the Hospital for making this a positive experience (as much as surgery can be a positive experience ;-))

Had surgery and then had to stay a few nights. Nurses and staff were incredible. Food was excellent and you got to choose what you wanted for your meals. If you get to choose your hospital, go here.

For a boutique private hospital they need to improve dramatically. The head female that runs it is sour, uncaring and rude and you realize that it is purely a business and not about the interest of patients. My husband needed to stay an extra day and was made to feel like an inconvenience.8 months ago my husband had day surgery and they were fantastic! Very different in the wards. On 24/7/18 My husband was taken to the ward after surgery and was left in his room for 1 hr in underwear and a sheet to cover him and he was freezing cold, Buzzer was out of reach and only that family turned up and dressed him, got blankets to cover him who knows how long he would have been left like that. The aircon was cold and he was told it was the coldest room ... the place was nearly empty, why give him the coldest room?Nurses only came in when meds or blood pressure need to be done or he buzzed. The nurses were nice and friendly, the catering staff were just lovely. Instant coffee with pot of hot water that was warm by the time it came to you. Lunch and dinner was delicious but breakfast was cereal, cold milk, cold toast and the room was cold. Our car service has friendlier people in reception than the hospital's on discharge. The hospital didn't have many patients and after talking to other there, non were impressed either. No would not recommend it.

I was in the Canberra Private hospital yesterday 30th June 2022. I had carpel and cubital tunnel repair. My visit was amazing, I had wonderful care from everyone who tended to me, from the moment I arrived to the young nurse saying farewell. That young nurse stood out in so many ways in the recovery rooms. Her name is Victoria and apparently she is an AIN. All the time I was there she never stopped, never seemed to miss a beat wether it be tending to patients around me, changing beds, moving beds around and helping others. Her pace was always as if she was on a mission from one task to the next. But her pace slowed as she walked me to the door to meet my hubby. Her kind and gentle manner and prosfessionalism was second to none. As I said ALL the staff were amazing but Victoria stood out. Thank you Sharon for your follow up call today, you too were wonderful. Hope to see you all again for my other hand soon. Warm Regards, Deborah Olde x

After waiting sometime a lady nurse prepared a patient next to me for a surgery with the same surgeon so I thought it might be a longer wait so thought I need to get some information and ask my pregnant wife waiting for me to pick up to go home and come bank later I am ready. After speaking with the lady nurse a male nurse came in and trying to convince me a bit rudely that I am not allowed to ask question. He was wearing mask but I felt like I’ve been threatened. After waiting for a certain period the same male and female helped me to get to the operation theatre. After all the talkings with doctors. The same male nurse came in from nowhere to threatened me again. He put his mask off and showed his face with mutton chops styled beard. Finally, he said “I want you to be quite.”Beside that experience everyone else was nice and friendly.

I had a THR at this hospital and the care was excellent from all quarters. Staff were friendly, professional and nothing was any problem for them to ensure I was kept as comfortable as possible. The rehab program is well organised and I was kept fully informed of what I was required to do. Whilst towels etc were clean and fresh they could be much thicker and the mat in front of the ice machine needs to be replaced.as it is starting to breakup. I would highly recommend having surgery at this hospital and thank all for the care provided to me.I recently completed the 8 week rehab program following my THR. The program is excellent and the staff are very encouraging, knowelgeable, professional and friendly. The presentations were were most helpful and provided information to assist in my recovery. Thank you all.

I rate this hospital very highly following my recent surgery and a 3 day stay. The overall atmosphere and professionalism of staff really put me at ease. I was happy that I was fully informed and updated regularly on my medical progress. The nursing care was excellent and the hospital facilities were top rate. Food deserves a special mention as it was of a very high quality with good choices available.
