Great place. Tucked away in a discrete location but walking distance to James St. We come here often for comedy nights, to watch NRL, and casual after work beers and snacks. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Excellent venue with venue fair prices. The young gentleman, Mitch, couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. I drank 12 beers without my wife harassing me.. great time! Will be rushing back.

Great little spot for a beer and feed. Menu has lots of great American Style BBQ. Super filling portion sizes. Only downside was my brisket was a bit dry. Otherwise was 5 star

Must visit for beer enthusiasts. We loved this place when visiting Gold coast. Great selection of Beers on tap for their own brews. Nice ambience, Great service from friendly crew. Food selection from smoke house is good too. Seating areas are awesome.

Like most gems this place is a bit hard to find but it’s definitely worth it. Just look for the shell service station on west Burleigh rd and in behind you will find it. The ambience is relaxed. It’s not one of those in your face micro breweries that look down on you for not ordering an IPA made with pineapple juice.This place has great staff who are happy to talk to you about the beer and serve you with a smile.The food is delicious. It’s exactly what you want with a craft beer. Have the ribs and the Korean chicken.The fitout is spacious and upmarket. Worth a relaxing afternoon on the beers.

Thank you to Shelley and the staff at Burleigh Barrels for a wonderful night at my husband's 70th birthday! Shelley was so helpful prior to the event and apart from a couple of hitches the night was very successful! The manager there at the time was very accommodating with my requests and instantly added more on our bar tab when asked about one of the hitches! All in all a great night with fabulous food platters which everyone enjoyed! Highly recommend for you next event!
