Leica Store and Gallery Melbourne

A lot more than a Camera Shop ! The experience was incredible and the staff is very knowledgeable, if we had more of those stores in the cbd the city would look different !

Staffs are nice and professional. They welcomed me even though the store was about to close in 30 minutes. I would love to shop here someday and buy a dreamy camera!

Josh provided excellent customer service. From patiently answering questions and sharing his experience, to walking me through the purchase and providing after sales service, I couldn’t have asked for a better customer experience.Very impressed and will deal with Leica Melbourne/Josh again for sure!

Well what more can I say about the Leica Sore and Gallery in St Collins Place Melbourne that has not already been said about this store.Upon entering the store you are made to feel special even if you don't make a purchase the team are there to assist you with your enquiriesBoth Carlo and Josh between them have a wealth of knowledge on all the Leica systems. I visit the store on a weekly basis to check out the pre loved cabinet to see what they have on display and I have made a few purchases and have been very pleased with the items that I have acquired.I would recommend this store to anyone who is thinking about getting into the world of Leica, I must say its been a very pleasant journey for me.

It is one of my favourite stores so clean, modern and aesthetic. It’s a visual pleasure to enter into this shop which not only sells cameras but sells you a vision of art, lifestyle and aesthetics with a touch of elegance and prestige. It was great to be shopping at the Leica Store and Gallery Melbourne. I'd put in a list of gear and they had everything I'd asked for and the service was very professional, yet relaxed. Josh, the Assistant Manager, was a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable. I'll be back to see him again for more.

Very disappointing experience, I went in around 6pm tonight to collect an order for my partner. Working previously in retail myself I understand the emotional highs and lows of working in a customer service, it can be incredibly draining and customers coming into the store an hour before closing can have you providing perhaps not the best service you can offer. However, upon arrival I felt incredibly dismissed, the sales person at the counter was on the phone so I walked up to the counter and was happy to wait, he gestured me to walk around the corner, no words just a gesture to move. I obliged and walked around the corner where the other salesmen walked out from the back and just stared at me, no words once again, just a blank stare. I had to initiate the conversation and say “hello do you work here” he replied with “sometimes” he continued to stare blankly at me like I was an alien. I asked “can you please help me” once again a vague stare. He then helped me with collecting my partners order with little to no words exchanged. I stood at the counter waiting for him to process the order, however it was such a cold and uninviting presence. I wanted to say something in the moment however the salesperson wished me a good night which I appreciated despite the interaction. I don’t usually leave reviews as I understand what it is like working in customer service. I am aware this may have been a miscommunication however it left me feeling drained from the experience and unwelcome in the store.

It’s good to offer second hand cameras here, just got the Q as an entry camera to discover the world of Leica!
