Sam had recently done a funeral for my partner’s family (when we were completely lost and literally just googled funeral places and picked Sam based of his photo and our feeling that he “looked like a kind man”), and I had no hesitation in recommending Sam to my family when my own grandmother passed away.Sam has one of the most caring dispositions I think you could ever find. He takes care of anything and everything, and nothing is too much trouble. He can read a room (and in my experience, two very different families), and can adapt and tailor things to suit. He takes so much care and time, and attends to every detail. We wanted to do a partly Buddhist ceremony to honour my grandma’s wishes and Sam went above and beyond to source monks who could offer the type of ceremony we wanted, driving essentially to Wollongong and back to retrieve these monks. We will be forever grateful for all Sam did for our family to make the funeral and grieving experience the best it could be, and would not hesitate to give him and his business the highest recommendation.
