Evenglide - Doors by Design

What a shamble of a business. After installation of roller door, the door would not close. Tech came out on a Thursday, left without fixing properly, and Friday night we were robbed from our garage thanks to door not closing. Senior tech came out the following week to fix again. Now working properly. Suspicious to say the least. Requested Evenglide pay half my excess for stolen bike, and their head service guy was great on first chat, then totally disappeared after that with no feedback as promised. Dawson in the office and his line manager (forgot her name) were terrible and aggressive.

Experience was excellent. I got the door I wanted, and it's been in for 2 years. Their aftermarket support/service has been excellent too.

I recently used the services of Evenglide for 6 sectional garage doors. They arrived on time to quote. They knew their product and problem solved and were extremely professional. I’m more than happy to recommend them to anyone looking for garage doors.

I paid a premium for a so called German garage door and received three remotes with it. Unfortunately, all three of the remotes ceased functioning within just a few months of use. Evenglide refused to replace them under warranty saying remotes are not covered under warranty! I was forced to purchase replacement remotes for $75 each. The remotes suffer from a fundamental design issue causing the buttons to randomly fail in a very short period of time. According to Australia's consumer law, if a product has a inherent design flaw, the supplier must replace the faulty product, and cannot avoid providing warranty coverage on the remotes. I will be reaching out to fair trading to address this issue.

poor after sale service … the garage door of our apartment building was installed by them and it broke down recently … our Body Corporate sent in a service request and was advised that the next available date is 10 days away … however for a premium of $200 they could send someone on the same day

My experience with Evenglide Qld was great, from initial enquiry right through to installation. Warren was knowledgeable and communicated clearly the product and costs. Installation was quicker than expected, and our door is functioning perfectly. A great product delivered by fantastic service.

Service was professional and friendly throughout the whole process of purchasing two Backyard Buddies’. Appointments ran on time and product is exactly what was expected. The extra storage is really great!

After an initiial hiccup of finding the correct colour the team that arrived got straight to it and put the roller door up within a couple of hours. It’s all working , yay ! Thanks for the economical price for both the door an installation . T

Our building management engaged Evenglide to manufacture a new garage door for our block of units, which Evenglide began work on in September 2022. After repeated requests for updates through our building management an install was scheduled for late November or early December 2022…nope.Today, in mid-January the following year (2023) the garage door was finally meant to be installed…nope; the installation couldn’t go ahead because additional items were needed, pushing back the installation at least a week according to the company. Note Evenglide has attended the site several times in the past but only discovered now that they needed additional items.Avoid them at all costs.
