Jo, who was an older salesperson with curly hair and glasses was EXTREMELY rude to me today. After coming in with a faulty good that was purchased the week prior, she proceeded to call me a liar and began to laugh in my face saying my “story” wasn’t possible, all while projecting her voice to allow the other customers to hear what she was saying. Her accusatory and judgmental tone while blatantly yelling at me in store was disgraceful. She made me feel as if it was my fault for buying a faulty cup. After talking to customer service, it’s been sorted out and I will be receiving a replacement cup thankfully. After reading a few of the reviews, it is clear that this is a behavioural pattern with Jo and it seems that she enjoys humiliating customers in attempt to brighten her sad life. Do better.

if I could leave a minus review I would! Drove for 45 minutes and at 5:45pm the girl has the roller door half down and wouldn't let me in. I advised I know what I wanted to buy and on the website the store is open until 6. Very poor service and I will tell all my friends not to shop here any more.

Very bad shop policies and worst customer service. Will never shop in this shop. Lady who works at the shop is very rude and yells at customers. BEWARE! Think twice before purchasing anything from this HOUSE shop.

Very bad customer service in this location House of DFO Bundoora. Before I bought the product, the staff did not tell me the special term regarding no refund. When I claimed that the business had obligation to disclose the special term to the customers under the law, the manager of House became very aggressive and was yelling at me: I do not care about law, we have own policy to follow. It is Australia here and is not in China. .’ I questioned the special term needed to show the customer before purchasing and is impossible to see it when it was placed far away from the counter. This manager shouted: that is your business to read it and we are not allowed to place this special term on the counter.’ I contacted the customer office of House many times but nobody answered. Not recommended to buy anything from this store. That manager looks have mental health problem as she was very aggressive and rude towards customers. She also discriminated customer who was from other country.

I don’t know why the short dark haired lady was so rude and hostile to begin with. I think she needs a break from customer service because she has some issues, both with her attitude and her hearing. It’s a nice store and they had what we were after but my gosh, I could never purchase anything from a store employing someone like that.
