Charger worked easily, nothing to do other than connect to the car and press start.Super convenient location and it's free! What's not to like?

Services degraded, only one functioning charging stall. Will update review when both fixed.As at 16 Mar 22 NRMA are aware of the fault and are awaiting a service technician.No ETA on a solution, no info how long this has been outstanding.

Only 1 of 2 stations working. Had 2 wait 40 minutes behind 2 others. Tragedy as this is last fast charger close to beginning of motorway to Sydney. Clear strong demand here for more fast charging station.

Good place for a charge. Stockland Wallsend a block away, row of shops directly adjacent. Also has “no parking” signs to hopefully avoid petrol vehicles taking up the two parks!

This is a reliable fast charger in a fairly sensible location. I enjoy browsing the many Op Shops along Nelson Street, and its also close to the Wallsend Village shopping centre. It is much busier than it used to be, now that so many more people have electric vehicles. They should expand beyond 2 stalls!

So very happy one was working. Also thankyou to the lovely Tesla owner who stopped charging his car so i could charge up on my return trip back to Sydney at Wallsend

As a roadside member of 35 years on top cover, I both applaud their charger roll-out, cringe at the number of locations with single chargers, and crawl up in a ball, disgusted at the way the issues with the chargers at wallsend have been managed. 5 month of poor response and we are still putting up with an older charger that is virtually impossible to use, and (finally) a new charger that only provides 22kw. NRMA, hang your head in shame...

Bit hard to stretch the Chademo cable into position for the Outlander Phev, but we made it work. Charging spaces were free and fast. Lovely parks nearby for walking your dog while waiting. Would use again. My only suggestion for NRMA is to swap CCS & Chademo cable positions on one of the chargers. Thanks NRMA for the juice! Wallsend Village shopping centre nearby also has two Tesla destination charging stations.
