I have visited here twice. Went to this salon through recommendation and was hoping to have a new go-to place for my nails because it’s much closer to home for me and their pricing was also lower than what I usually pay for at other salons. They’re mainly busy with their hair services on both the occasions I have visited. First impression - a very spacious, organised and clean salon. Very comfortable chairs for both clients and employees themselves. They have a very large range of colours especially with lots of pinks and nudes which I absolutely love (I always get SNS).On my first visit, the treatment took 1 hour 15 minutes which is quite long. I noticed she did a lot of extra base layers in between which seemed a bit more than necessary (totally fine, every technician has their own technique). I’m not sure if this was her usual working speed with nails but she really took her time. I appreciate her attention to detail to the shape and going as far as asking how narrow or wide I wanted them which was my first ever being asked this. Overall, I loved the result and was really happy with them! Unfortunately, after 2.5 weeks I had a nail tip break off with no force. I was able to glue it back on since my real nail had grown out a bit by then but considering all the extra base layers she had done, I would’ve expected it to last longer.On my second visit, I had a different technician. This was completed in 1 hour which is the standard. She didn’t seem very passionate about doing nails and didn’t pay much attention to detail. I had a cut put through my skin as she was manually filing my nails with a regular nail file. I don’t make much of a fuss so I just let it pass. I was just confused how that happened with a regular nail file rather than the e-file since it has more control. With the overall result, the colour was amazing but the length on my left hand nails are shorter than the right (with my partner also telling me the same). 2 nails are patchy because she dug into them whilst dipping the layers and from it being filed but the nails weren’t completed hardened with the sealer coat. The shaping was okay; they’re unevenly angled and it was more straight square than coffin as to my request but not a big deal to me. However, after only 4 days, a nail tip has broken off again and also with no force. It didn’t get knocked or caught onto anything so I was just very confused and questioned if this is just how it is for paying a little less than I usually do elsewhere. I can’t glue it back on either since my real nail hasn’t grown out enough. 4 days is quite upsetting when I can go 4 weeks with constant refills every month and it’ll be fine. This is a shorter length to what I’m use to as well so I’m not really sure what’s happening here.

Visited Chrystal Jade conveniently after work and the girl's were incredibly accommodating and warm. Service was great and they went above and beyond. Definitely coming back again

Love the work they did to my nails. This is my first experience with SNS but I already like it more than gels. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. Close to my house as well so this will be my new favourite pampering place!I also had my hair cut and recoloured here but will wait for a few days for the colour to settle before having a say :). The cut was good in general :)
