Micheal L attended my sons property to tow my car on Saturday evening as it had been hit by another vehicle while parked on nature strip.Micheal was very kind and professional he provided information on what was to happen with car and appropriate suggestions what to do next, which settled my nerves. We use Mendem for all our towing. They are fantastic to deal with.

This happened months ago when my car was stolen then written off by some methhead.I requested to pick up my car by a certain time and they said no problem and will try to source a quote for someone to take my car off my hands.I travel there by public transport for over an hour and when I’m almost there they called me about signing paperwork. When I said I was almost there the lady said it wasn’t ready to be picked up that day and would have to come back the next day.Before I left, I confirmed with her that the car would be ready for pick up before they close that day. Not only did she refuse to admit her mistake but she vindictively took back her offer to find me a quote for a wrecker.On top of this, when I said her office closed at 4:30pm she said it closed at 4pm. When I pointed out Google Maps said differently, she said she doesn’t care what it says. I explained it’s the company’s responsibility to maintain its Google Maps page but she arrogantly brushed it off.I had to go back the next day with my own wrecker after wasting 2-3 hours travel time the day before.If you’re ever forced to deal with these guys make 100% sure your car is ready before heading there cos they’ll waste your time.Edit: In typical fashion the owner of this page has plenty of time to make snarky replies to poor reviews but apparently not enough time to update operating hours.

Encountered vehicle theft. Victoria Police towed my vehicle there and rang me to pick it up. Rang the business number afternoon on 3 Mar 2023 , the company could not find my vehicle, and then hung up my call. Another theft happened right there.

Damaged my car by forklifting , enquired them through email and sent them pictures of the damage, no one replied. I Don’t recommend them.

My partners car was recently stolen and found. Police used mend’em towing for the tow service from the recovery scene. I was told I could collect the vehicle the following day. This turned into 4 days. On the day of collection, they charged me a ridiculous $700 for a storage fee and a 10 min tow up the road. Not only for the headache and the price, they did further damage to the front of my car with their forklift and stole my partners binnacle gauges that where 110% still in the vehicle at the recovery scene as He was called to verify his vehicle at the time of recovery . The whole dealing with mend’em towing was appalling. Extremely bad customer service and way too over priced.

I was forced off the road by a Mendem tow truck in St Kilda last week, as we both turned right at the lights (he was on my left) he didn’t check his mirrors and veered completely into my lane as we were turning, and I had to drive up a curb which blew my tyre, the driver didn’t pull over so I followed him to the next intersection with a flat tyre and got out to tell him, he was completely rude and said “well is there any damage?” and disregarded that it happened then drove off without an apology.I called the head office who were nice to start with but they ended up saying since the dash cam footage doesn’t show what happened (me being to the right side of the truck) they aren’t willing to show compassion or compensate for the damages done.Wish nothing but the worst for this company.

They were lovely, but communication is a bit off. I really would've liked to know the process a bit earlier on as because of the lack of info i got at the beginning it made things more difficult on day of pick up
