Smak'd Hairdressing Pimpama

I have had my hair cut plenty of times in my life and have never left reviews for any of the hairdressers. This time was the best haircut and wash I've ever had. I could tell Fiona had been hairdressing for a long time. I will definitely be back to see Fiona.

Been a few times over the years and not had a problem, but I went a couple of days before New Year and the hairdresser absolutely ruined my hair. She over cooked it with the bleach, it was striped with random white strands and I’ve lost about 30% of my hair. I’m currently on a treatment/repair journey with another salon who have said it’s going to be about 6 to 12 months before we can get my hair as I wanted it to be, as it’s too damaged to do what needs to be done to correct it in one hit! I don’t even need bleach on my hair just a high lift as I’m naturally blond anyway and just wanted a few lighter strands scattered through. The cut she did was absolutely terrible too and needed to be corrected!!

I've only ever had great experiences here. Riley has cut my hair a few times, such kind and clear communication. Today Coutney did a 'magic trick' turning my hair from box dye black to medium brown with highlights. The vibe in the store is great. I'd highly recommend trying this salon out if you haven't already.

Would highly recommend this business, all staff are incredibly kind and my stylist Rhylee always gives me exactly what I want and it’s always perfect.

Love this salon, been going there for 3 or more years,the staff are friendly and welcoming.Demi is a fantastic stylist and always understands exactly how I would like my finished result to be. 10 out 10 !!

So happy! After having a bad hair experience somewhere else, I needed my hair fixed and was super satisfied with the haircut Demi gave me. Cute salon and great service. Will be back for sure.

So i booked an appointment and went in, everything was fine and the staff were quite nice. I asked for something like a mullet/wolf cut and my stylist said that they weren’t qualified/skilled enough to do that cut, which was fine I guess. So instead of getting what I wanted they did sort of a trim, just a very very small bit off the bottom and a little bit of layers ( not much was done just looked like a cut a small bit off) The chair I sat in was quite uncomfortable and it took about 3 hours!! just to cut off a small about of hair. And then from the price of a kids cut, the total was now somehow $40-60 (it was quite a while ago I don’t remeber the exact price) so basically I had to pay extra for a haircut I didn’t want :(

I have gone from long to short and Fiona has been amazing. I feel like a new person every time I leave the salon. Highly recommend Smak’d Hairdressing at Pimpama, especially Fiona.

I can’t recommend this place and Keahna enough. I wouldn’t go to anyone else let alone trust them with my hair after the countless times she has without fail brung my hair back to life. Absolutely amazing as what she does. Thankyou!
