Bitter tasting coffee. Coffee dribble not wiped of side of cup before serving. Sugar was add whi specifically asked for 2 equals

This place has the best menu in Wollongong! My partner and I were in the best food coma of our lives by the time we left ground kitchen.The plates are fantastic for sharing and the cooking was delicious. Clara and the staff are all so lovely, helpful and truly accommodating for food allergies. I've never seen such a varied menu for gluten free and vego options, all without sparing the flavour! The chef is an absolute genius.We had an amazing time and I absolutely HAVE to recommend this undiscovered gem of dining here in Wollongong!

Mixed experiences at this cafe.The outside seating is welcome but inside can be a real lucky dip of experiences. It can be too loud and bit of a boy's club for Wollongong's tragic suited wannabes.Wait times for breakfast can be up to 30 minutes on weekends. The coffee can sometimes be burnt but generally it's pretty good considering the brand is not one of my favourites.The staff are friendly but I think they need a bigger kitchen and more cooks to meet expectations during peak times.They do seem to do much better when things are more on the quiet side. If it's super busy you might do better continuing into the mall and trying Quotes or Lee & Me who do much better with crowds.

The true charm of the cafe was the staff. Friendly, conversational and great service. This was my first visit here and I could tell that the staff truly make an effort to know their customers.Their home made carrot cake was delicious, they pair it with a cream thing which was a nice surprise. Also, I had the spinach omelette special, which was decent: I suggest that it could do with more seasoning and flavour. Their coffee (mocha) was good, can't complain

This is our second visit to Ground within a fortnight, and we are really pleased we've found this little gem. They have really well priced food and drinks, the service is fast and friendly, and it's a cosy place to dine indoor or out. There's a jumbo takeaway coffee size too if you need a decent caffeine hit to keep you going, plus they serve an all day breakfast.
