Scissors Hairdressing

I’ve been getting my hair cut at Scissors since they had their salon on Church Street. I’ve been blonde and back (a couple of times) as well as very short haircuts and I’ve never walked out unhappy.The salon is gorgeous and the kind of place you go for relaxing, pamper time while you get your hair cut.Elena is such a talented hairdresser that I’ve said “do what you think will look good” and I’ve walked away with an amazing haircut. Her colleague Bev is also lovely and a great hairdresser too.The only place I’ll go.

I'm sorry to rate a business I only went to once so poorly but I really don't want to go back, so unfortunately they will not have a chance to correct their work.Pics taken 2 days after a full head of highlights, I requested natural look and to cover the regrowth / match the highlights at the bottom of my hair.as you can see - roots weren't done, this especially bothers me around my face as I wear my hair up often and it is very noticeable.Toning wasn't applied evenly, as you can see, with the hot roots in some places (no I didn't have any other colour / bleach on my hair, so there was nothing else it could've been interacting with.)Lastly the hairdresser was quite rough, pulling the foils out rather than unwrapping them; as well as yanking on my hair while washing it, thank God she let me brush my own hair after the wash.I'll probably let this grow out for a month and then go see the girls at Boda hair who did my hair last time. Hopefully they can make this look a bit more even / natural.
