Exceptional service. Each staff member I had contact with was very helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased new skate boots and had them mounted with my existing plates. Also, my other set of skates needed a bit more tlc than I could manage and the fix was quick, easy and so reasonably priced. For personalised service and quality products, Skater HQ ticks all the boxes.

Despite the website and Facebook page the physical store is closed permanently. Phone is not managed. Travelled an hour with my son to get the helmet he wanted for his birthday to ensure the right size.

Bought a pair of Powerslide Next 80 in Rose pink,Only to find out that the pair that arrived had its wheels and frame switched out for another colour, in black.After calling customer support, was told that the the frame and wheels did not come in 4x80.Either the person did not know the product or tried to deceive us.Was then later told that they give options to their customers to switch out frames and wheels.Just a chain of a deceptive experience. From shipping out a customised product that was different as displayed, to be told that the frame and wheels were not stock from manufacturer, then admitting that they switch out their frames and wheels to satisfy their customers.Then was provided advice, to buy the frame and wheels somewhere else in Australia, because you won't find any. Even try from overseas.Either nobody checked the product before shipping or was shipped anyways knowing that the skates were modified.Poor experience. If you're buying online, expect to receive something else.

Bill is the best in the skating business. Not only does he offer good old fashioned service without the frills (as it should be), he will go above and beyond to ensure you are all ready to get on your new wheels PRONTO. Myself and a few friends will drive from the other side of Sydney because the other vendors cannot ever compare. Thankyou Skater HQ for your knowledge and wonderful service.

I bought a complete this time last year from SkaterHq during lock down and brought it in to get the grip tape replaced and pick up pad and a helmet. Lachlan was great, he said they could heat the grip and it would stick back down, he showed me a variety of pads so I could choose what was the most comfortable and was able to mix and match the sizes. I also asked about softer wheels and he gave suggestions and installed it. He was really knowledgeable and cared about the right fit rather than selling the most expensive kit. Highly recommend any new skaters to go in and get sorted in store.

Took my 8 year old to build his first custom skateboard. Had a truly excellent experience. The range of options was extensive and Sam, who helped us, was knowledgeable and friendly. He let my son help with the build and told him what he was doing at each step. Highly recommend.
