chips tasted like something someone would have put in the oven at home - not what i want when im getting fish and chips out. no salt on them and asked for chicken salt which the lady put on one sprinkle in front of me. potatoe cakes sucked and the dim sims were mid. waste of my money and time

Best fish n chips in melbourne so far hands down. The amount of chips can feed an army. And they were like 'beer battered chips'. An extra fish thrown in. Maybe i looked hungry? Lol. Would recommend highly to do yourself a favour and give them a try!

After living in the area for 8 years and driving past hundreds of time and thinking “ I must try that place sometime” today I did .I was greeted by the owner as I walked in and instantly knew this guy means business, friendly, good sense of humor and very obvious he knows his customers and knows the business.I ordered the whiting with chips and it was perfect!!! Generous servicing of hot fresh fish. The batter was very light and crispy but not too crispy that it’s hard and thick, and not soggy or over oily.I told the owner. Knew I’d be back before even eating the food and I can report I saw right10/10 for the food, the service and for the old school fish and chips that is hard to find these days

Amazing find. Old school fish and chips shop. We had burgers - they were huge and delicious. Generous fillings. Owner was friendly, rounded down the amount owing, threw in extra potato cakes, just don’t find these places anymore.

Fantastic Hamburgers Old Style . Why would you buy a mushy sloppy one from McDonalds across the road when you get a fresh juicy one made quickly that resembles what it is advertised as , not a sloppy over sauced sugar bun sold by Mcdonalds
