Great location, basically you can walk everywhere from the place. Rooms are lovely and clean. Very nice kitchen with all needed utensils. Swimming pool! The owner is FANTASTIC! You'll love it!

Not a bad last minute accommodation. Rooms are a little days and there is no air-conditioning. The bed is pretty comfortable considering the price. They need a little help with the electrical as we had a cable extending from one corner to next to the bed for a lamp... Other than that it wasn't too bad!

The owner and the people that works there are so rude. It was my birthday and they don‘t give me the room i‘ve Booked and say just rude things to me. Never saw a customer service like this. They was drunk and so unfriendly that I leave. I waited 1 hour for the closed door because the owner was too drunk to talk to me. The rooms smell bad and don‘t look like the pictures. Never book this accommodation.

So I stayed there for a week when I kind of started my work and traveling year in Australia. The place is really cosy, quiet, clean and nice, in these cases different from the mass dormitory hostels (which have their advances too). Great service is that I can get all my future post to this place for free, even though I'm travelling in a car somewhere in Australia

Not glitzy or glamorous, just clean, comfortable, simple accommodation at a great price and with very friendly and helpful hosts. And I was stoked to be in a traditional Queenslander! I stayed in a single room, shared bathroom for 4 nights/5 days and didn't have to queue once. I did a mixture of eating out and cooking my own meals and had everything I needed in the kitchen. Location is fantastic, with a bus and bike rack almost right outside and a ferry stop about 15mins walk away. An amazing french patisserie (Chouquette) about 25m down the road, and a cinema 50m away! The best sushi (try the spicy tuna) at Yuzu & Co, opposite the cinema. A lovely tea shop (Tour de Tea), opposite Merthyr Village 15 mins walk away, and also a great little book shop with interesting gift cards. There's a Coles in the Village, and a very nice bakery, The Bakeologists, perfect for putting together a picnic lunch for an afternoon at New Farm Park. All in all, this was the best choice I made for a few days break. Plenty to do around here and just a nice little relaxing neighbourhood . Happy Holidays everyone!

Beautiful guesthouse close to shops, parks and the Powerhouse museum. We stayed in a lovely double room for only $60. Room had a wardrobe, fridge, kettle, dresser, tv and lamp. Shared bathrooms were large and clean. Shared kitchen and lounge were well stocked and had books to borrow and comfortable seating. Only minor issue was the building works going on next door which woke me up early and the thin windows allowed other noises during the night to wake me.

Stayed there for a good few weeks. Really nice place, great location, cheap/great value for money. Having stayed at a hostel in the city previously which had a nightclub beneath it, meaning sleep before 3am was virtually impossible, coming here was pure bliss. My thanks to Fergal and Bel.

We stayed here with a camper van (they have one parking spot behind). WiFi was good. Relaxed quiet atmosphere. Close to all the restaurants in new farm and a little walk from Fortitude Valley (uphill though).

Nice place. Good instalations, familiar ambiance but security is a real need. We've been told that there had been lots of problems with some people from outside that just got in. As the house is opened all day and there is no security whoever wants can get in. It will be better to just lock it and send the code to the customers so as they could get in . The owner was really nice and I would like to help this place being perfect, so maybe this will help.

I had a really nice time at this guesthouse! Ann and the staff made me feel like I was at home every day I spent there. They helped me a lot, and recommended good stuff to do every day. It is very clean, has a great kitchen and a pool. Also the location is very good. I definitely recommend it. Good value for money.
