Our kitchen took an unnecessary amount of time to build… over 18 months of design, build and install and it is still not finished. We have been left with many areas that require fixing. The top and bottom door handles do not match (they were supposed to match as per specifications), our kickers are so uneven they don't sit correctly under the cabinetry, we've been left with cabinets that have chips and marks visible, cupboards that have been placed so close together the doors are hard to open, shelves that are chipped, our bin draw is crooked, no kicker for oven (and told initially it would incur an additional cost if we wanted one), our pantry pocket doors (once pushed back) sit uneven, door handles crooked... the list just goes on. There were no quality checks done by Harry or his workers, communication was very poor. The poorest we have ever dealt with. We constantly had to chase him for updates and we were ignored most of the time. It's meant to be an exciting time, designing a kitchen - but this experience was so stressful and poorly managed by H Plus H. There was no attention to detail, handles swapped out and changed without consultation, we asked for pull handles on the back of the island cupboards and were given 160mm sized handles - so anyone who sits at the island now bangs their knees. The draw handle placement was not discussed and placed so high near the benchtop you cannot get your hand in to pull the draw open. We spoke about these issues with Harry and were told we would need to pay more to fix these issues. Please AVOID this cabinet maker. We were hoping his “eye for detail” would make up for his utter lack of professionalism – we were sorely mistaken. He overcharged us by $15,000 and left us with a kitchen we are not happy with. With some sections not even functional. We are now having to employ and pay someone else to fix all the problems. It’s so very disappointing. Worst experience ever.

My experience with H plus H projects was extremely professional and quick. I was I think a difficult client as I really had no idea of what I was wanting and needing. Harry came up with some brilliant designs and custom made my salon nail bar with an idea that I would never have thought of myself. Everyone who entered my salon after the renovations absolutely loved the layout and design. Thank you so much for you hard work. I will be referring you to anyone that is in need of a professional and imaginative custom cabinetry company.

I could not rate Harry and his team highly enough, they pretty much had to hold my hand through the kitchen renovation process as it was all new to me! Harry has a wealth of experience which shines through his approach to his craft and workmanship. He has a keen eye for detail and design which helped me in making decisions with confidence. He always had time for me and never made me feel silly for asking pretty basic questions! I could not be happier with my kitchen and am so excited to host Christmas for my family and friends! Finally a kitchen I am proud of!
