CGU Insurance

Signed up for silver insurance and had to jump through hoops to make a claim and after 3 months later was denied. Turns out flood damage in the silver package doesn't include when fill that washes out from under concrete from overflowing pool. As far as I'm aware, anything to do with excessive deluge is flood related. Very disappointing as this was the first time we've needed help with insurance and the company looked back as far as 20 years to when the house was built. Service was poor and felt like we were forgotten about. Definitely do not recommend this provider for home insurance. We will be taking our money elsewhere to a company that looks after their customers.
