Mount Coolum National Park

Enjoyable hike with brilliant views. There are some steep parts, but still relatively easy even for below average fitness levels. The whole track is roughly paved all the way to the summit and there are multiple view points and rest stops along the climb route. At the summit, there are a 3 different view points - one towards the West overlooking Coolum coastline, one towards the Southwest overlooking Maroochydore, and one towards to East overlooking the hills and valleys inland. Can be climbed in Day or Night, but bring sufficient lights and gear if hiking at night*Wear sun protection (hat, sunnies, sunscreen) There are patches of greenery at the start of the hike, but very little shade covering for most of the climb especially at the summit*Bring water. There are no water taps or restrooms*There is a parking area near the entrance, but if full, you can park along the street

Easy hike even for people like me who is rarely active. Can be a 30 minute hike up and less than 30 minutes going down. Fantastic view, I bet even lovelier during sunrise.

Great walk. Much shorter than the recommended (2 hours return) time if you're half fit. 6 and 9 year old cambered up no problem. Well formed track with a number of steep steps. Lovely views at the top! The

Enjoyable walk up to some great views of Mt Coolum and surrounds. Wear some supportive shoes to get up and down with ease

If you like climbing mountains, this is one to look at. It takes me 30 min up and 15 min down. Wear Very good shoes with good soles. Very challenging, but if you are reasonably fit you will love it. Lots of parking

Excellent walk to the top quite steep

Start at the small car park to head straight up. Signage says 2 hour return trip to summit, however can be done in well under an hour including stopping for photos. Is very steep at the start and I saw a few people really struggling. From the top the views are sensational. Great little activity to do first thing in morning or late afternoon.
