Salvos Stores Burpengary

great big shop filled with some great clothes !!! but staff are awfully rude. two older ladies served me and my mother, one was so rude and judgmental towards my mother shaking her head and laughing a behind her back. then after we had left it was obvious she was laughing at my mother again. i wasn’t gonna stand for that so i went back in and asked them if they were laughing at my mum… of course they deny it and patronise me right to my face… very rude ladies… if you can even call them that.

Bit of a joke I took an elderly client In there who needed support and they turned him away with a phone number. Client doesn't know how to use a phone, and when I called for him I was on hold for 80 minutes. Client had literally fallen asleep . Rob from the store needs to learn some empathy.

Male on register Sat arvo 4/9/21 was loudly bad mouthing & ridiculing a prior customer to another staff member while we were browsing, it was uncomfortable.I was wearing my disability support uniform and the person I was with had an obvious physical and intellectual disability but when he told them their total and I queried whether the Th/Fr/Sat pension discount had been given or if he needed to see their pension card he said “Does she have one?” And then “Well then yes I will have to see it!”As they were laboriously getting it out he lost patience waiting, told them he could see it from there and brushed them off as they finally held it up.I’ve always found this particular Salvos store to feel quite soulless, if this guy is the manager (?) then I now understand why.

Nice clean store. I bought 2 floral dresses for $6 each and a bunch of baby clothes ranging from $2.50 to $4. I didn't realise one of the baby dresses was stained, but I'll do my best to get the stain. If not I can dye or tie dye the dress to give it a second life and save it from landfill.

Extremely large store. Large range of ladies wear including plus size clothing.Plenty of parking onsite, although it is shared with neighbouring businesses.Large range of different stock including furniture, homewares, bric a brac, shoes & accessories.Quite a large selection of books & some children's toys & books.

Went to drop off some items and was turned away....apparently everything has to be in sealed plastic bags or they don’t want it......took it to lifeline around the corner.....they thanked me and appreciated the donation. Which was 4 large brand new floor pillows...the staff at salvos burpengary are rude and ungrateful.

Visited a few times and on the last 2 occasions the staff have been INCREDIBLY rude. Wouldnt recommend visiting based on staff attitude alone and some of their items are overpriced. Are you forgetting your an op shop and get stuff donated? We shop at op shops because we can't afford to pay top dollar for things, keep that in mind when pricing your items.

Big store, good range or products and quality.

The staff we encountered today we're possibly the most rude we have come across in any shopping experience ANYWHERE! Not only was the male cashier feeding his face while serving us, he had no manners, and no interest in actually answering our questions. Oh, by the way, don't bother trying to get a drink from the vending machine, it eats your money and doesn't deliver. Also no question of refund on lost money.

Walked in half an hour before they closed the staff were rude and wouldn't keep their filthy overpriced clothes until 9 the next morning for me! Didn't think I was asking too much! Sorry they must earn enough cash during the day! Good luck to you salvos I won't be going back there!
