Muffin Break Mt Gravatt Garden City

Not overtly impressed. Love muffin break usually but service was rushed and I didn’t feel at all valued. I asked for a mocha and there was no coffee taste. Went back to mention this and ask for a shot of coffee to be added but the lady said she did a mocha. 100% not a mocha. I make coffees for a living and this was just chocolate. Felt fobbed off so won’t be rushing back. Shame.

Both our coffees were too hot. Burnt milk. Didnt taste like coffee. Both muffins were too dense and dry. indooroopilly muffin break could give them some lessons

Service: 1/5. During my visit to the shop at 4 pm, I encountered two girls, one of whom was Asian. I took photos of the coffee machine area while the Asian girl was preparing the coffee. They immediately assumed that I was filming her, even though I wasn't. After showing them the photos in which her hands appeared, they still insisted that I delete the photos. Their behavior was very rude and unwelcoming. I believe they were trying to make me delete the photos because the place was not clean.Cleanness: 1.5/5. The coffee machine, tools for preparation, and overall area were dirty. The lack of cleanliness made me feel uncomfortable and hesitant to order any food or drinks.Long black coffee: 5/5. The long black coffee was the only redeeming factor of my visit. They used medium roast coffee beans and it was delicious and well-made.Backed cheese cake: 4/5. The backed cheese cake was also very tasty, but the poor service and dirty environment overshadowed my enjoyment of it.

I may have caught the person at a bad time but they looked somewhat annoyed when I was there. The shelves were a bit bare and my muffin didn’t taste fresh. Rather disappointing given that their products aren’t cheap. I do love muffin break so I’d probably just come in the morning and hope to be served by a different person next time :)

I regularly go here for their yummy coffee. Staff are friendly, greet me warmly, remember how I like my coffee and bake yummy food too. Carrot cake is my favourite but I like the muffins, melting moments and a few of the slices .......

I had a very nice coffee, and a very good gluten free muffin... which is harder than it sounds because baking without gluten is quite tricky, believe me!

Coffee and muffin are ok, but the little Asian lady is quite rude attitude,there is no patient. Ruin the start of my day. I am Asian, but I won’t go to this Asian coffee shop. Prefer to spent little bit more $ and get a friendly smile.

Best coffee in Garden City. I have been going here, to get my morning coffee before work, for two years now. I have always had quick service with the ladies remembering my order. I have never once noticed them to be rude. Getting my morning coffee here starts my day right.

I wonder if the two ladies who were serving at the counter are owners or what especially the one who was making coffees was rude to me, this idea popped in my mind. But if they are, I don’t think this business will last, if they are not please find better people who are nice and know hospitality and not being rude to customers. Great coffee and muffins but not the people.
