Falcon Falls walking track

Wonderful scenery but no water on falls unless after heavy rain, and then road in will unlikely be accessible. However great cliffs and local flora plus a good picnic spot. Return walk easy, 1.3km return under 30 minutes.

Easy walk to Falls, fresh vegetation after all the rain, wattles flowering, saw the Falcon on her nest

Short, well-worn and sign-posted track to rocky outcrop where nesting sites can be identified by white guano marking the rocks. The trail itself is largely uninteresting but it’s a short walk and worth it to see the rocky outcrop. You’ll need to visit at the right time of year to see the raptors.Note that if you’re staying at the Woolshed Campground, the road south from the ground to this trailhead is very rough and impassable to all but 4wd vehicles (with good ground clearance). This was the case as of Easter ‘23. If you’re in a 2wd vehicle and contemplating whether it’s worth the longer route to the trail then I’d suggest that it is not (unless you also plan to do the nearby Brogden trail).

Great place for a easy walk but don't expect to see a waterfall just a decent view

A small trail to the cliff, kinda fun to explore the way up.

Great walking track, fairly easy hike up a hill. Not much water flowing this Autumn but still beautiful.
