AVOID THIS RIP OFF SHOP!! Pool salt has been in short supply so when passing recently and saw they had some outside I stopped to get 3 bags as the pool needed it. Then when he said $72 I almost fell over from shock. The average price is about $14 per bag from pool shops but this business is just purely and simply ripping people off and I will NEVER buy from them again no matter how desperate I am for salt.I spoke to to my regular pool shop and he said they aren't getting charged more per bag than previously so this shop is just milking people. Avoid buying anything from this shop at all costs because blatantly ripping the customer off for no other reason than you can is disgusting and they don't deserve anyone's business.

We've been going to Austin Pools Browns Plains for years, Darren and staff have always need very friendly and over the top helpful. We'd never shop anywhere else for our pool supplies.Best pool shop.Awesome people.10/10

Drive a few more Kms to a pool shop that cares. Refused to sell or even look up a part for a Austin product. Not worth my time " was what was said. When will they learn how to treat a customer."

Nice shop and service however they test water with testing strips and told me chemistry was good however pool water a bit cloudy. Went to someone else who tested it properly and bought $80 chemicals as per computer report. Won’t be back sorry.

I never write reviews so this is rare. I've been going to this pool shop for about 5 years & Darren has always been kind & helpful & knows his stuff even when my pool is green & I don't know what the heck is going on! Top job & nice guys.

I've been going to Austin Pool Shops for many many years, I've lost count. Steve's service is outstanding & always so helpful,I wouldn't go anywhere else ,I was so happy Darren is no longer with the company, he was such a rude man ,he should have gone years ago ,everyone that had bad dealings with him ,please give Austin Pool shop at Browns Plains another go,as Steve & Tony are fantastic, you won't be disappointed as Austin Pool Shop is a good company

Very Rude no customer service by Darren. We were asking and enquiring about pool service and wanted to discuss issues with pool currently..keep saying we do not provide free service... Well he needs to check on his english as we never told or asked him for free service.. Not recommend at all .. Should be a zero star

I have used this pool shop for 3 years and purchased a lot of pool equipment from as well as get my water tested. It was well worth investing in quality equipment and staff are helpful if something goes wrong. The best part is they don't try and sell you chemicals you don't need and they stock quality product. Staff are friendly and happy to give advice.

Absolutely terrible!!I called to speak with an attendant and was “greeted” with Austin Pools! The person(male adult)sounded like he didn’t even want to be there.I enquired about the possibility of this company taking on responsibility of monthly management services for my pool for my tenants on my behalf.The operator grunted things and stated “what do you want from us”? I explained in detail once again that I wished for them to service my pool on a monthly contractual basis and the person said “no mate, not until next year”.DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
