Do you ever wish that your hairdresser would really listen to you and had the skills to give you exactly what you want? If the answer is yes, I would recommend DC Hairlounge in Baulkham Hills. Darshini, Cheng and Jess give the most peaceful,, calm and relaxed service in a safe environment. They wear masks, because who needs the flu, a cold or Covid, right? They don’t overbook, so you never feel like they’re rushing your hair cut. They don’t “push” you to buy products, something I personally don’t like in many salons. On the other hand, they’re very knowledgeable and happy to advise about their products if you want to buy some take home haircare. Which, by the way, are all Aveda, cruelty free. I keep coming back because I feel that they respect my requests about my hairstyle , they respect my health, they’re calm and not rushed, they’re skilled and they provide a really good service.

My experience with them has deteriorated. 1st visit was good. In my 2nd visit, there was delay of about 45 mts although I had my appointment pre-booked. Today was my 3rd visit for hair cut & I had my appointment booked for 11:45, but they said it was at 12:00 when they have me on their booking system and started my hair cut late. I'm not too fussed about the 15 mts had they said they had to change it last minute, instead they refused to acknowledge my original booking time. Also in my 3 visits, I have noticed that they treat people of colour differently.Having said that, they do hair cut very well & I never had complaints about it. Also the assistant lady is very friendly and courteous. Only reasons why I give them 2 stars.If you are the owner of the shop & reading this review - and want to understand the concerns in detail, please don't hesitate to contact me.Please change your attitude with customers, otherwise in the long run you will lose lot of them. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here, especially if you are people of colour.

Absolutely amazing salon the owner darshini did my hair today she did a fantastic job and made me feel really special this is my hairdresser forever thank you so much for looking after me ❤

Would absolutely recommend if your after something funky! Went in with a creative request and they absolutely exceeded my expectations! Blown away with the hair cut and colour, have become my go to salon.

Incredibly disappointed with the service. I have long hair and required a full colour, the stylist Cheng was visibly annoyed at how long my hair was and made several comments about it. He coloured my roots first then washed my hair and placed the colour on the rest of my hair while wet which has made the colour look patchy and uneven. I was left at the basin for a considerable amount of time while the colour processed even though I made several comments that I was uncomfortable I was ignored. He was incredibly rough and wasn't concerned at all with the quality of his work or making his customer feel comfortable. Would not recommend going to this salon.

Chen, Darsh and Rebecca are wonderful! Chen and Darsh are artists! Most importantly they can actually cut and style curly hair! I highly recommend them.

Got my hair cut and styled a week ago, not sure what my hairdressers name was but he was awesome!!Made sure I got exactly what I was envisioning and was super polite!!Hair looked super healthy after and I’m super happy with the overall experience, thankyou!

I recently had a haircut with them , and I have to say I'm extremely happy with the result! From the moment I walked into the salon, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.

Best hair cut experience I have ever had!! Cheng really took his time in cutting and styling my hair, he is a true perfectionist! He helped me understand my hair and how to maintain it better.I was very impressed with his service and the salon itself. Finally I found a gem of Aveda salon in the western Sydney, very professional staff, service with a smile and showed lot of patience with my dry, damaged and very long hair. It was a pleasure to meet the owner Darshini and her amazing staff! The massage, herbal tea and above all willingness to help was outstanding! Looking forward to my next appointment already!Amy
