We need more coal-fired power stations. That means more coal. It is cheap and reliable. Renewables like solar and wind cannot be relied upon for base load power. Are the activists teaching that to our impressionable young students. No, of course not. Everybody knows that. We need more coal, more coal. It is not the boggie man, we have been indoctrinated to believe. Time to wake up.

What a good idea - pollute and destroy ground and surface water and drain the aquifer of water. Then create toxic wastewater outflows! Fantastic idea. Can we also organise to store some old Soviet era nuclear warheads here as well, and waste from the Lucas Heights nuclear reactor?Then we can really complete Hume Coal's toxic heavy metal polluting project with some radioactive panache.
