Country Mile Escape Scenic Rim

For those who want to take some time out or just want to try it, we highly recommend Country Mile Escape. Here you have the opportunity to be secluded (the next village Canungra is not far away), to listen to the wind on a wonderful terrace, to watch the waving blades of grass and to greet the passing animals. The elegantly designed house has everything you need to feel at home and Trish does her part.

We loved our two night getaway in the Aerial cottage. Absolutely beautifully decorated, luxurious bathroom, log fire, and hosts Trish and Murray were fantastic, with lot of recommendations from where to see fantastic views of the region, to walking trails, wineries, dining and local specialty shops. Beautifully quiet and private, exceeded our expectations, lovely personal touches like fresh flowers from the gardens and complimentary chocolatesEverything was top quality, including the cleanliness!!

Above and beyond our expectations! I surprised my partner for our two year anniversary and we both loved everything! We got to see basically every animal on the property walk past the cabin over the weekend, including a friendly horse that came over for some pats. The furnishings were gorgeous and everything we needed was supplied.

We visited Country Mile Escape for our 10 year wedding anniversary spending 4 days at this beautiful accommodation in the Gold Coast Hinterland. We found the whole experience very romantic and elegant. The cottage is beautifully designed with a homely feel throughout, you can see kangaroos and other animals all over the property. Conveniently located close to vineyards and nature walks/ activities and when your done exploring there is nothing better then coming back to your private country cottage to run a bath.We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of Country Mile Escape and this will be a regular getaway for us when we need to escape, rest and relax!!

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time at this beautiful, peaceful, property.The cabin was very comfortable and very clean providing everything needed for a getaway.Sitting around the outdoor fire pit was a favourite for me , along with soaking in the extra large bath tub . We also saw cows, goats, wallabies , horses and even an owl .We will definitely be returning to Country Mile Escape

We absolutely loved our little mid week getaway to Country Mile Escape. Close enough to town if you wanted to go out but so secluded you could be in the middle of nowhere. Studio was very comfortable, king size bed was amazing and the bath! wow! Everything you needed, we spent a fair bit of time outside in front of the fire pit enjoying the mountains and the friendly cattle and sheep and wallabies that stopped for a hello. Trish was an amazing host and we would love to come back again! So many birds and very quiet if you are looking for a relaxing break.

After 4.5 years we finally got to go away. My husband and I were blown away by the beauty of The Shay and the surrounds. Trish is incredible and if you stay here, you guaranteed to walk away relaxed. We have found our getaway location. Can’t wait till we go back!

Had the most amazing time at Country Mile Escape and can hands down say it is the best place I have ever gone to stay with my partner.We both really needed a de-stress to get away from work, responsibilities and to connect with ourselves again and Country Mile Escape was exactly what we needed.Our little cabin had everything we needed and more and having all the farm animals around made it that more special. Would recommend this holiday retreat to anyone.

What a hidden gem this place is! Complete serenity with all the modern comforts of home. Fresh linen on bedding (very comfortable too), plush towels for the luxe bathroom, and fresh flowers on the kitchen table. Pure bliss. This is the perfect relaxing escape with beautiful views, and great value. I already can't wait to come back!
