Hyams Beach

This is an amazingly stunning beach. Famous for its white sand. Lots of fun, and family friendly. Fairly easy to access. There are public restrooms and an outdoor cold shower to wash the sand off (which I had to use to get the sand out of my puppy’s eyes as it was the first time she’s been to the beach and just did a face plant the second she got there!)

Visited Little Hyams Beach.Nice beach with white sand. Much grainier then Hyams Beach or Callala Beach but nice nevertheless.There is a toilet block here with one outdoorshower.To get down to the beach there are stairs or a driveway , ramp you can walk down easy enough.The ramp you can also get a wheelchair down.Not sure on the best times to go for ease of parking but had no issues on Easter Monday and parked right across the road from the driveway ramp.The ramp is lock with a double gate so no cars can get through. More for the council staff.The beach is clean. It is small compared to the main beach but I guess hence the name.During peak seasons like the summer holidays it is very very busy here so parking will be a challenge unless you are staying at one of many air bnbs or accommodation providers.Good location with easy access and plenty of space to move around for most parts of the year.Good snorkelling ariund here and when calm really nice to paddle board around.Again it is much different during peak periods when visitors come to town to stay.Overall good beach and has everything you need to relax and enjoy a local holiday

Beautiful beach to spend time with kids and family. Have seen many people snorkelling. Not many big waves. Gets crowded easily.

A dog friendly beach but dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please pick up after your dog and remove the bag.This is a no collection of shells or fishing area. Toilet and shower is located at the beach with street parking.Remove all rubbish when you leave, this will keep the area beautiful for all to enjoy.Cafe's on Cyrus street, which serves coffee and food, 150 mtrs south of the beach.

Great beach with white sand and a clear ocean. Just watch out for the rocks if you swim!

Peaceful.... Good to play with children.

Very nice beach, however I think there are better more secluded beaches in Booderee

Ohh man what a beautiful beach to visit. I think Hyams Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. White sand makes it amazing. A must beach to visit if you are visiting Australia or you live here.

Amazing beach! The beach was really busy but still enough room to find a nice shady spot under the trees. The water was some of the most beautiful and clear water I have ever seen. The sand was the softest and whitest sand I have ever seen! Highly recommended! We will be returning soon
