Plenty of space to get out of the car, stretch the legs and let the dog have a run around. Amenities are basic, but have had toilet paper every time stopped there. Always a good thing!!

It's a public toilet spot. Don't expect much. Have a pee, walk your dog, get back on the road. Happy days

The stop area was nice but the toilets weren't clean when we stopped there. A worker did arrive as we were leaving and it's not their fault someone had not cleaned up their own mess. It would be good if they provided bars of soap. Surely people wouldn't steal them any more.

Balmattum Rest Area & Toilet
Well maintained rest stop on the Albury Bound side of the Hume Highway.It is a paved area with parking for cars and semi trailers.Public toilets located at the entry of the rest area, there are numerous picnic tables with cover from sun and rain.Its very big so plenty of room for trucks and cars.Will keep it in mind when travelling this way again in the future.
