Eagles Nest Hideaway Tawonga South VIC

Really disappointed with the service that was provided to us. Host sounded super friendly on phone and when met her in person she was rude, may be as we are not Aussies. Hosts live on the top floor , we booked the place for two nights and had to leave 10 hours before as we did not like the hospitality at all. She kept monitoring the unit by keep reminding us the place needs to be left clean before we leave , despite of holding 200 dollars security deposit. Prior to the stay she indeed also charged 120 dollars as cleaning fee on top of regular room rent. The intention sounded clearly as if we went there just to take pictures with the guest suit not for a stay. Charge was 920 dollars for two nights for two rooms with only single bathroom that too with no kitchen usage. There was a bbq machine provided to use where we got to hear from the host multiple times that it needs to cleaned and the table needs to be cleared off on our 1st day itself as if we were leaving the very next second. Every time we cook in the bbq area she popped from the upstairs balcony asking us to reduce the noise even though we were quite enough. Clearly there is no privacy at this place and its like host invading our privacy. Rooms are not as like the pictures as they are taken from long short. Yes they are clean but very tiny. For four adults definetely not recommended with such a high charge.

Travelled through a few weeks back with work and my colleagues and I stayed with Trish and Ciro for a night. Couldn’t rate them higher for their genuine hospitality and care for their guests. After a long drive, they drove us down to the local Crank Handle Brewery and even picked us up later that evening to make sure we got home. The price was a steal compared to other Air BnBs and the view from the balcony in the morning was amazing and Ciro’s espressos topped the trip off nicely. Definitely will call in again if I’m back this way, cheers!

My partner and I just finished a three week stay at Eagle Nest. Trish and Churo who are fantastic hosts have invested significantly in this apartment which is incredibly comfortable for a couple +1/2.One of us was working remotely while the other paragliding / MTB during the stay - the property is walking distance to Paragliding LZ and takeoff, MTB trails a short ride into Mount Beauty.Trish and Churo are doing all the right things in developing their property and their hospitality experience shines through - we’ll definitely be back !

The best place to enjoy your gateways.The view is breathtaking and the kangaroos, rabbits made my early mornings and evenings even better❤️The hosts are adorable and warm. Patricia and Churo are one of the best hosts, i can vouch for. We had a memorable trip and plan to go back once again to their vacay home. Just to mention, they have a new apartment with all the amenities and the interior is gorgeous. Highly recommend Wagle nest hideaway.

The luxury touches were wonderful and the views day and night were amazing. Thanks for having us. Looking forward to catching up again in the future.

Great views from outside. No common area, two dated bedrooms, kitchenette. breakfast was a loaf of bread and a packet of crumpets. Host was voicing her concerns about her liability insurance within mins of our arrival. The price was unbelievable, over$500. We wished we stayed home. Go anywhere else

Being born in Tawonga (yes, there was a hospital here, albeit a long time ago - sadly) Iknow the beauty of the area. My wife and I had 5 wonderful nights here and we could not have more comfort and every convenience.Trish is a delightful host and Eagles Nest Hideaway is a credit to her and Churo.Strongly suggest a visit to Ceccanti Winery which is close by for some great wines (the Riesling is tops).

My partner and I stayed for two nights and it was the best weekend ever. When you book and stay there, the place will speak for itself. A cosy and homely two bedroom apartment with breathtaking views. And we even got extra things (as a bonus) for breakfast and cookies and chocolate as it was around Easter. The hosts, Patricia and Churro, are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and made sure that we had everything we needed and went over and above to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.The property has 360 views and you can even see Mt. Bogong in the distance. We woke up early to watch the sunrise and it was stunning. The property is on a hill so if you’re looking for a peaceful and serene getaway - this is it! It’s only a five minute drive into town so not far at all to have a nice dinner and return home to relax. There is also a nice outdoor dining area where we sat and had breakfast, which was cooked on the barbie, and you can watch the friendly wildlife while you eat. The property is surrounded by families of kangaroos and rabbits which were a joy to just sit and observe.When we left, Trish told us that they are opening a new addition soon which is newly renovated and furnished. She even took us through for a tour and the decor is modern and beautiful - we can’t wait to go back and stay there!Thanks again Trish and Churro, you made our stay extra wonderful, we truly enjoyed our relaxing trip which is just what we needed and we can’t wait to come back!
