Shehnai Tandoori Indian Restaurant
After visiting the cinema we decided to try this restaurant without a booking. We were greeted and seated in a booth by friendly staff and treated to a wonderful meal without feeling rushed. Thank you Shehnai for reviving my confidence in Currambine food service.

Fantastic food.Quite a limited menu, but what they do is consistently good. Seekh kebabs great, chicken tikka great. Really, really good naan and the best Vindaloo ever.Always look forward to coming here.

Foods are pleasant and tasty.Service is pretty good, if a little slow.Seating and ambiance are well done compared to most Indian restaurants.It fails terribly on price. Really, way over-priced for what you get. Takeaway menu is a little cheaper, but still too much.

Ordered the goan prawn curry and chicken madras. Both sauces were just full of chilli, that's all you could taste. Won't be going back. Pretty disappointing.

First visit tonight and we’ll definitely be back. Have lived around the northern suburbs for 16 years and this is the best Indian we’ve had. Nice modern setting, friendly staff and fresh, tasty Indian food. We had butter chicken, beef vindaloo and beef madras. Yummm!

Worth the visit!atmosphere is much better then most Indian restraunts In the area, very clean and tidy, the LED candles are a nice touch.I like the fact that the menu is not over loaded with dishes, this is reflected in the quality and speed of the food.The food was very good and nice portion sizes, the flavours were not too strong for the western palate and well presented. The food came out very fast but usually expected for curry dishes as there usually prepared in advance.Saw Another table request sauce even though they ordered a dry dish. The Chef was very accomidating, he personally came out and made them a sauce just for them.only thing could be improved on is the table service a little. The younger staff Didn't seem all too welcoming, didn't check in on us, and had to wave down a few times to order more drinks but overall not too bad.The shared entrance with the take away side of the business takes the atmosphere of a restraunt away abit, and tables positioned near the entrance get abit of interruptions to the dining experience.Overall Worth a Visit, suggest seating away from the entrance, BYO alcohol highly reccomend.

I love the food here! I’ve been coming here for 17 plus years. The Butter Chicken is amazing, best I’ve tasted in Perth! The onion Bhajis are a must!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice food. Acoustics were a bit hard to hear which sucks if you have industrial deafness like me!Service was ok. No alcohol is served here.
