Masa Byron Bay
If you ask me what I missed about Byron Bay, I would say the pastries that I ate at Masa. The croissants and scrolls were flawless in texture, combined with perfectly executed flavour combinations. While the prices are high, you're paying for quality and it was an experience well worth the money. In addition, the coffee there was rock solid and very well priced.

To me it’s just alright croissant with variety of choices. No doubt the croissant were good but not the rest. Went back twice just because missus likes croissant and this is the only place so far she can get a decent one in Byron. I had way better one in Sydney but hey, I know it can’t be compared for this is Byron.

Extraordinary culinary experience (at least pastry wise!!) and good value for money. A hidden gem in Byron and a must if you're a food lover and croissant lover like I am. Don't miss out and get the goods peeps!

Great Coffee, Pastries are amazing as usual! Just one thing, I have visited this place over five times, and each time I feel regretful about the way the staff treats customers. It could have been because it was early in the morning, but I think a little kindness is needed.

This is definitely one place I will remember on our trip to the beautiful Byron Bay!We were lucky enough to stumble onto this beautiful looking bakery in the heart of the industrial area in Byron. What can I say.. this is hands down the best and tastiest sausage roll I have ever had..The pork and fennel melted in my mouth and the crisp of the outer crust was actually perfect (yes it was really)The sauce that was paired with it was perfect and not over powering at all.The cleanliness of the store was amazing and the staff were not only friendly but helpful. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. If you're in Byron Bay please this is a must!

During my 1 day stay in Byron Bay, my friend and I kept coming back and tried about 8 varieties. Even bought some to take back to Sydney. They were all so good, especially when served hot.

Decent croissants but would have to say Lune still tops it. I opted for the plain croissant to compare, it wasn't as crispy as I would have expected. I thought it might have just been bad luck for my plain butter selection so I also tried 3 other flavours that my friends got - the cinnamon scroll, the ham and cheese (too much ham, there was like 4 layers in the pastry) as well as the apple danish - all of which were okay but not mind-blowing, again the pastry was soft and not crispy at all. Masa definitely had a nice variety of unique flavours. Coffees were nice, but the service was lacklustre - staff weren't very welcoming and seemed reluctant to serve us.

Croissants were good! Probably excellent for Byron Bay. Not the best I have had (I still rate LODE Sydney as my best) but it was good. Pistachio lime waas crispy eith good amount of filling. Coconut brioche tasted more like a donut with the filling. Stick to croissants here. Coffee was good.

I recently visited a Masa and was blown away by the delicious pastries and excellent service. The croissants were some of the best I've ever had - flaky on the outside and buttery on the inside. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. I can't wait to go back and try their hot chocolate again. If you're looking for a cozy cafe with amazing croissants and great service, this is the place to go!

Good atmosphere, appreciate the aesthetic, but menu leaves much to be desired. CBD like coffee, no art, no depth. Pastries presented well but were cold and ordinary. Goats cheese and fig was literally a pastry with a dollop of cheese and half a fig on top. Cool place to call in but don’t go out of your way on a trip from Sydney like we did.
