Location is amazing let down by the service, food and prices. Disappointing to see tables cleared so slowly rubbish blows into the harbour or 20 seagulls have a feast. You have a responsibility to the environment!! Menu is now tired having been pretty much the same for many years. When I left there were 6 or so staff hovering near the serving bench. They should have been clearing the tables outside. Service much better at Shelley Beach venue

Some constructive feedback...The food and service quality has dropped from. The prices being charged here, the choice to go with QR code ordering, and the audacious request for a tip from the lack of service is all beyond comprehension for a venue of this location.We sat for around 30mins whilst tables around us were piled up with plates and cups. Our meals came (to the kitchens credit, the quality was good for what they had to deliver, though again for the prices there is so much more available elsewhere) and they were almost cold. Our coffee came about 5 mins after I finished my meal.The tables are grubby and in need of a good wipe down.The staff, they are doing their best with the guidance they have, but they really need a few lessons in coming out with plates to serve, and leaving with plates to clean. Why go back to the kitchen empty handed?Families standing around hoping for a table whilst plates are stacked don't make for a good experience. Whilst others sitting and waiting as their meals take too long to come out.If you enjoy sitting at grubby tables, eating with a view of stacked plates and used coffee cups whilst being asked for a tip via the heartless QR code this place is for you.

The coffee took over 15 minutes to arrive and was cold when they brought it. All the drinks only came after I went back up to the counter and asked what was happening with our order.We were there at a very unusual time outside of lunch or breakfast hours and would have expected better service.

Wonderful venue, great atmosphere, location and the staff were super friendly and made for a most enjoyable and special lunch. Lots of table options inside and out. Any over indulgences can be walked off on the beach. Prices are high, but to be expected in such a splendid location where the average house prices are probably over $10M. Hope to try their breakfast menu and a happy-hour cocktail on future visits.

Good view and decent food. I believe the food used to be better though. I ordered fish and chips, take away. Food came at a reasonable time roughly 15mins. Chips were a little oily, however.For those who do takeaway be careful of the kookaburras/ birds, they will try steal your meal.

If spectacular views and average food are your thing or you just simply want to go somewhere for photos and don’t care for what you’re eating… this is your place.As above. 1 star for view, one for the cucumber cocktail. That’s about it. The rest of the food was edible but very bland. Better seafood and your corner fish and chip shop (just down the road).Staff were attentive though which is worth noting but again, average overpriced food.

Amazing flat white & I really loved the French toast croissant. The design of everything looked amazing. We’ll definitely return! The QR code didn’t seem to work unfortunately.

Great staff who really make you feel special. Such a fabulous position right on the water with good food and fun cocktails. Highly recommend the Balmoral Boathouse.

perfect location just next to Balmoral beach(next to swimming net area). great beach view vibes. They have lots drinks and food menu(cocktails/liquors, coffee, kids menu, burgers, scones, some sweets etc). You can grab a table by yourself and order with QR code(me&u) or at counter. Hope they open till bit more late!
