Great bicycle rental and mechanic. I was arriving in Brisbane from outside the country for a trip on the BVRT. Ryan sorted me out with a perfectly set up mountain bike, including bags, tent etc. Perfect communication. Really knew his stuff.

I came across Ryan's business Ascent Cycles as a local on a Google search. I had a couple of unusual requests which he was able to help me with. Great guy and very skilled. Will be sure to go back for future repairs.

Ryan is an excellent mechanic for both road and MTB bikes. He has serviced my daughter XC race bikes and my Stumpjumper. Nothing is too hard, very flexible, explain in details what is going on and how he fixes it. Very nice guy to talk too as well. Even if I could do it myself now I tend to give it to Ryan as I know I will save lots of time and stress.

Went to see Ryan on recommendation from some fellow cyclists. Discussed what was needed then dropped bike off. Communication was great,and picked bike up. Workmanship and price were excellent. Took bike for an easy 50k,absolutely perfect. It feels like a new bike. Won't be going to anybody else. Thanks Ryan.

Ryan is a 10/10 when it comes to bike mechanics. He knows his stuff, no bike or job too big or too small. Well priced, and you get the advice for free regarding ks to service etc. Regardless of your knowledge of parts, components, & compatibility Ryan has the knack of explaining bike jargon in simple terms. Well appointed in Edmondstone St, Wilston near Crust & Co Bakery. I found Ryan to be diligent, professional and reliable. No hesitation in recommending Ascent Cycles.

Ryan is a great mechanic, obviously stoked on bikes, knowledgeable, and happy to have a chat. He did everything possible to make my visit easy and smooth. Great communication, flexible, just the most helpful guy in town. 10/10.
