Dandenong Kia Service Centre
I brought my Kia in as it wasn't runnng properly so they could diagnose it and find the problem.. Matt said The Injectors were faulty and around $1000 each but they can do it for $500 each so $2000... I said no and I had to tow my car from the kia as the battery was completely dead. I brought a battery andit still wouldn't start.. i had a look at supercheap website and found Bosch injectors for $150 each so I changed them myself and still didnt fix the problem.. spark plugs were seized and dirty, so they either didn't check them or they seized them.. they still.charged me $350 for a complete miss diagnosis .. I rang Matt and he wasn't interested in helping.. I bought a code reader for $150 from super cheap.. plugged it in and said 02 sensor was faulty.. bought one for $150 And replaced it myself, fixed the problem and runs well..Moral of the story, don't bring your car here.. Thought they were supposed to be kia specialist..UPDATE Matt rang me a few days after this post and tried explain his actions and asked me remove the post instead of apologising for the stuff up.. offered half of my money back to remove the post.. i didnt expect..

Highly recommend Kia Dandenong for car servicing .I purchased my Kia Seltos there and would not trust anyone else to do my service.I was able to wait while they took care of my car and Kel kept me updated as to what was required to keep my car running as smooth as it always has. He also advised me of the importance of servicing myCar at the klms required to keep my warranty valid . This was something that I was unaware of.Thanks Kel and Kia service team !

On 05/02/2021 I dropped my car at Dandenong KIA service center for log book service and I was told that the car would be ready for pick up in a few hours. After a while, I received a call from them stating that the brake discs and brake pads on the car need to be replaced. It was surprising to me because I had replaced the brake pads on the previous log book service on 12/12/2019 by fern tree gully KIA (421 days earlier) and apparently the guy who called me didn’t know this.I told the guy on the phone that the brakes have been replaced on the previous service and they shouldn’t have any problem, but he insisted that they need to be replaced. though I sensed something fishy about this, but because we were about to go on a trip and I didn’t want to take any risk, I accepted that they replace the disks and pads. That day, they charged me 996$ of which 778$ was for the Disc and pad replacement.After that day I decided to avoid servicing the car at KIA dealers and take it to an independent repair shop instead.Since then I have serviced the car on the schedule on a local repair shop at Ringwood and now after 674 days, no one has asked me to replace the brake pads and discs on my car. Please note that during all these years since we purchased this car, my driving habits have always been the same.Considering that we purchased the car as brand new, how is it possible the car needed pads and disc replacement on 2 successive log book services by KIA dealers (just after 421 days of normal usage) and after I have started to service the car somewhere else, the new repair shop never asked me to replace the brakes (after 674 days so far).I strongly believe that my car didn’t need any discs and pads replaced on that day and they charged me 778$ on over servicing my car.

I have to check my cameras to see if they actually performed a service. They didn't even wash my car buy gave me a voucher off the next service. Update: after reading my conserns, the team at Kia Dandenong had agreed to pick up my car from my work, do the appropriate service, in which they fixed my tyre that had a nail in it and washed my car. Thank you Kia.

Returned to Dandenong Kia service after an hour issue which I told them about was not diagnosed and fixed. I told them about the issue at the time of service and picked it up assuming it was fixed. The Customer service Manager started with blaming anything else apart from them and continued to argue his case He did not listen and was arrogant to the point where I stormed out to take somewhere else to fix the problem. Customer service is about listening to your customers to help find a solution, not starting an argument because you think you are correct. I will use this story when I am training people on customer staff complaints as I am now there most unhappy customer all because they didn’t know how to handle a complaint. Back to a Kia service centre that values there clients and puts customers before profits. Thanks Kia Dandenong Service for ruining my day.
