Bakehouse Cafe (Gorokan)

Ok food range but generally overpriced and terrible service. I ordered six items today and they managed to mess up three of them (including putting coffee in my son's babychino - no apology). My wife had two occasions where the person taking the order didn't even make eye contact. A teenage boy rolled his eyes when there was a problem with her order. Generally you have to be prepared to feel like you're bothering the staff by being a customer there. My recommendation to management is to either stop hiring teenagers or to invest more time in supervising them.

Great cafe! They have a sandwich bar, cakes, hot pies and sausage rolls, pastries and of course bread.I have tried alot of stuff here and all is great!

I have been a regular customer since this cafe opened, usually bought the same things over and over, prices were very reasonable for the quality. But to pay over $20 for 3 products and also they have taken some items away, and some of the young staff are just awful. The older staff were always great. I’m so disappointed and won’t be back

Very poor service. I called in to buy a treat to take to a friend in hospital. Trying to decide so I said I'd have a Danish please. Waited and waited, asked if someone was going to serve me, the young lady said you were trying to decide and I said yes and I'll have a Danish please. She proceeded to pack coffee bags. A man talking to another lady, both staff also ignored me so I walked out. Won't go back again and won't recommend them

Stale cakes, Poor service , Overpriced - charged to use eftpos machine what a joke, when asked staff when cakes were baked, was told don’t know as they come in frozen and then thawed out and served so could be months old not good form for a cake shop. Sausage rolls are fatty and greasy, pies are overpriced. Overall a chain of shops to avoid at all costs, bread is tasteless, staff have no idea how to make coffee and service was poor, disappointing, store was dirty, would give no stars if I could.

Very disappointed.We have been long time customers here despite the surge in prices and poor customer service from the younger staff members.Yesterday I sent my mother in to purchase some curry pies and sausage rolls as I was craving a nice pie.Was only one curry pie left so she also purchased two Thai chicken curry pies which I had never tried before. 3 sausage rolls were purchased too. The ends of them were half an inch thick of hard crustiness, mine actually cut the roof of my mouth open while trying to eat it (clearly old and crusty) and one of the chicken pies were consumed and gave my son food poisoning.. what a night I have had with him.I am disgusted to see a wonderful business turn to rubbish. The young staff have been observed to have poor hygiene aswell which would contribute to the spread of bacteria and germs.I will be reporting to the appropriate authorities as this needs to be fixed. You cannot be charging almost $40 for 3 pies and 3 sausage rolls to cut a persons mouth and give their child food poisoning.. Shame on this business.

If you don't allow menulog orders because you were closed today - then update your trading hours with menulog. It's rude. Otherwise if you were open today and you declined my order, then I won't be back. Shame, got great hot food!

Double bacon and egg roll, not worth $11.39 at all, neither is the stupid eftpos fee which I'd expect from a shoddy chinese junk store, you're a business and you want our money by whatever means then that's a cost YOU absorb, cheap tasteless fatty bacon, egg over cooked, roll fell apart. Junk.

Unfortunately it let me down meat pies were dry pastry was hard ,filling no taste meat l think it was dry hard , tomato sauce was the winner
