I used the services from WMC PR to promote my illustrated non-fiction book 'How Food is Made: An illustrated guide to how everyday food is produced'. Wendy is fantastic. Not only was she professional and very timely in her communications with both media and me, she also took a genuine interest in the book and in seeing it succeed. Wendy is very trustworthy, thorough and did not miss a single opportunity! Using a PR firm is quite a financial investment, but Wendy and her team helped get quite a bit of media attention for the book including print, radio and online throughout Australia and New Zealand. A tip for anyone considering a PR firm for book promotion: get your ducks in a row before you start. Ideally, have everything ready (your website, advertising, social media, photos, promo videos etc) before you start so your media and advertising etc all work together nicely. As part of a larger promotional campaign, I felt the services provided by WMC PR were very valuable in building awareness for the book on a national scale and I would certainly recommend them.

I've decided I want to write a review for Wendy, not just any review but an amazing one. But I'm worried if i write it too positive it won't be believable, that's what people say - keep it real.
