Although this is a smaller coles, I choose to do my shopping here every time. The staff are great! The store is always clean, tidy and stocked and the demographic is amazing! I have had people offer to unpack my groceries for me more times than I can count (new baby and a child)

A very poor customer experience today, purchased several items including a bottle of Crisco canola oil 750ml that was displayed as $4.50. After finalising the purchased I reviewed the receipt and noticed I was charged $5.50. I went back to the cashier and explained the overcharging. Her response was we are not doing refunds today" and no explanation was given. After I queried this she said "you will need to come back tomorrow". As I'm not a local I suggested that I purchase a paper with a cost of $4.00 and pay $3.00 that would balance everything. Unfortunately

Pre packed coleslaw large out of date next day and still asking full price not much variety of fresh bread and terrible for parking

A lot of staff seem to be standing around chatting and give a very sharp reply when asked anything. The younger staff seem to be always helpful. Maybe the older ladies need to retire and let some younger more energetic and polite staff move in.

Always shop at Coles Budgewoi. Amble parking at back of Coles, easy footpath for trollies, hassle free. Short walk to side entry.
