Airlie Guest House

We stayed at this fabulous guest house both before and after our adventure of sailing in the Whitsunday Islands. The house is in an exceptional location, not too far from the main street, and with wonderful views across to the sea. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The balcony, kitchen, laundry and lounge areas are also well appointed, and added to the relaxed feeling of 'a home away from home'. The fresh tropical fruit and home baked goods were also very much appreciated. Mick and his team were so friendly and helpful, and really made our stay a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend it.

One of the nicest guest houses I've ever visited. Mick the owner has got it all just right, the rooms, kitchen and breakfast facilities and location. It has a fantastic balcony wrapped around the 1st floor with views across Airlie. Cockatoos often visit the trees in the garden. If you visit Airlie stay here.

Such a lovely place!Not sure what was better; the premises, the staff, the view or the Airlie Beach.The room and the bathroom were so clean and everything was it was supposed to be!Mick and his crew was so friendly and nice.Oh Mick’s banana muffins should be not missed as well!Enjoyed staying there and won’t stay anywhere else if i go to Airlie Beach again!

Mick and the team did a great job in making us feel welcome and comfortable and the tasty treats they prepared each day for breakfast were an unexpected bonus. The views from the shared balcony were fabulous and it was a great place to unwind and experience Airlie Beach. It was a fabulous stay.... we would have no hesitation in going back to the guest house should we ever visit Airlie Beach. Thanks for your hospitality!

My husband and I stayed at the Airlie Guest House for just over one week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us - just a short walk to the centre of Airlie. We booked a deluxe queen room, which was very clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen was very well equipped. The other property facilities and shared areas made our stay very comfortable. Mick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing. I had some issues with another accommodation and had to check out earlier and find a new accommodation. I even mixed up check in dates and Mick was incredibly helpful and helped me find a place to stay for one night. He also brought my luggage from this place to Airlie Beach Guest House where I stayed for 2 nights. Mick was more than hospitable. His service was outstanding! Airlie Beach Guest House is a wonderful accommodation with stunning views and everyone makes you feel welcome.The room was impeccable, very clean and it looked like new! Air conditioner and fan worked flawlessly. Daily breakfast with fresh fruit and a kitchen & fridge that can be used by guests is very handy as well.I can recommend this place to anyone who stays a couple days in Airlie Beach.Thank you for everything, Mick! A cometely unique and comfortable setting, perfectly situated close enough to town so that you can walk, but far enough for peace and quiet. Mick and the team were so wonderful and friendly. I honestly don't think I've ever had a better experience at an accommodation. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Airlie Beach. Thank you Mick.

Airlie guest house has an amazing vibe. The moment I stepped in, I felt at home. Mick is an amazing host who really cares about you and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. The beds are comfortable and every details has been thought through in the room. Property is very clean and well landscaped. The gleaming hardwoods throughout the upper floor make it very charming. Nice breeze in the naturally shaded balcony with a view of the ocean was perfect place to meditate. Freshly baked cakes, good coffee and cut fruits, variety of utensils and access to a common kitchen meant that I would be very happy to stay here for long periods of time. This is not a resort or a hotel with fine dining. It is a home away from home that you share with other like minded people with full private space of your own. Excellent value for money.I am typically a resorts person and occasionally stay at boutique properties with mixed experiences. Airlie guest house exceeded all my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the beautiful city of Airlie beach for a short or long stay.
