Ngaanyatjarra Health Service

I worked for Ngaanyatjarra Health from late 2018, through 2019, and only left early 2020 as the missus and I planned to go travelling overseas (Covid scuppered those plans though). I thought it was a brilliant place to work, most everyone there was happy and committed to doing the best job they possibly could to try and provide a quality health service to the people living out on the Ngaanyatjarra lands.The staff who live out on the lands do a very hard job under trying conditions what with the extreme heat and remoteness, so we would do what we could to try and make their lives easier out there where possible, and I think most of them appreciated that and understood what the limitations were of budgets and resources.Finally, having worked out in community for other organisations - who shall remain nameless - I can categorically confirm that NGHealth takes much better care of its people in terms of living conditions and work/life balance than most other outfits, and that's due to the efforts of management and leadership back in the Alice Springs office. 100% can recommend them to work for, certainly if you're working in Alice Springs. If you're wanting to work out in community it can vary by community, each has its challenges, and of course its never gonna be a cake walk, but if you've got a good head on your shoulders and you work with the team back in the office, communicate, and help each other out, then you'll do fine.

12/12/2020 I worked for NG health for 2 years in Warakurna. Thr management there are very supportive and attentive to needs of a RAN.. i look forward to working with them again. Thanks jase for the 55inch TV haha.Update 26/07/2022 - still great to work for except jase only hooked me up with 40 inch tv this time
