Clean, comfy and quiet. We arrived on a very hot day and Kerri had the air conditioning on already in the room so it was cool. She is very welcoming and full of useful information about the town and local attractions. Well worth the trip.

We went on a class camp for 2 nights and there were possums and kangaroos at the accommodation. The only problem was the cabins were really tiny. it was probably a 2m by 2m room.

had a year 4 camp here. all the people from my school were annoying, or maybe i just miss going on camps. one of the parents that came along brought a gold spray can of paint. him and the boys went and sprayed a rock gold and said they found a nugget.

peaceful locationThe accomodation was clean and everything you need there is there. A mention about the friendly and helpfull host. Thnak you heaps and hopefully we will be back

Good place to stay, grab a train cabin for something different. Short walk down to the historic village of Hill End.

We stayed in the old train. Heater worked well for a cold June night. Only problem is you have to go into town for breakfast.

Hill End Ranch
We've just returned from our 4th or 5th stay here and loved it! A wonderful place for a down to earth, peaceful and clean air holiday. Loads of space for the kids to run around, gorgeous restored train carriages for the adults to stay in and bunk rooms for the kids. Kangaroos at every turn, both at the Ranch and throughout the town - day and night, and if you don't hassle them they're very well behaved. Hill End is steeped in gold mining history and a wonderful place to wander, discover and soak up the clean country air. Kerri is available for advice, but otherwise you're left to your own devices - just the way we like it.
