Do yourself a favour and go eat here.We were lucky we arrived without a booking, and they allowed us in if we didn't want to linger, which suited us.I am glad they did. Food and service was excellent.On my list fir my next trip to DarwinDon't forget to book

Really friendly locale with Mexican Staff and good selection of tequilas and mezcals. Also some Mexican beers available. Variety of different plates, none too spicy or original. Overall average prices with good quantities.

My favourite restaurant in Darwin. Diane is the most inviting and kind lady and always looks after us so well! Never disappoint (unless I leave my husband to order and he orders me the wrong thing!) would highly highly recommend this restaurant!

Very underwhelmingService was nice enough but the food is fairly average. It's not bad, it's just not that exciting. (Well for me anyhow)If you don't like coriander then don't bother as most meals contain it and no substitutes offered or available.Also felt a little ripped off when the menu explains you get 3 torts with a meal but in reality you get 1.5 as they are simply cut in half. Who wants to make half tacos??

Not a huge Mexican cuisine fan but I really enjoyed visiting here,cool decor and atmosphere,the Burrito Del Mar was excellent as was the Coconut Margarita,beers were cold and the service was friendly,will be looking forward to the next visit

Some tasty dishes such as the seafood burrito and Colorado, but the wait times here are far too long.If you are quoted a pick up time, just arrive half an hour later. That's how long I've had to wait after my quoted pick up time with the last three orders.

Great restaurant with large servings.We came in early on a Saturday, so we were lucky that we got a table. The restaurant seemed to be fully booked out a little while after. I would definitely recommend booking on the weekend.All our meals were tasty, however my partner complained about the selection of hot sauces. Would have been better with some more variety then only Tabasco.Friendly staff and service.Overall a good experience !

Great restaurant with great staff and owner. The restaurant has a lot of history and a relaxing positive vibe. The food is great but not fantastic but way better then hot tamales. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Diane was a great host

Hadn't been there in years, but it was absolutely brilliant. Staff were fantastic and lovely. Food was really worth the trek from the rual area. Have already told a bunch of friends to go there. Well done Prickles, you were great 14 years ago and still are.

PRICKLES MEXICAN
Amazing food, definitely the best local Mexican restaurant in Darwin. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bean Burrito - veganised by just removing the sour cream and cheese. It was delicious! It would be nice to have an option of vegan cheese, but I still thought it was awesome.
