Ridiculous prices. Can get everything cheaper by a whopping 50-75% less on EBay Marketplace, even at the market and in better or equal condition.

I visited last year and I had the best time in this place. I was digging around for a solid hour looking for hidden gems. Found 2 items that I had never seen before. Would go back in a heart beat, unfortunately I don't live in Tasmania

Everything in this place is way overpriced. They're selling used DVD's for $30 that you can buy brand new, on Blu-ray, for a third of that. Their CDs are the same, JBHIFI has the same albums they have, brand new, for at least half as much if not less. Specific example; I bought Resident Evil Zero on GameCube on eBay for $10. Collector's are selling it for $39. Avoid this place.

An almost unbelievably extensive range of CD's - you will need two hours to go through them all!! And some real hard to find deleted titles. I always visit when in Burnie and have spent thousand's of dollars here since I first visited the original, much smaller store way back in 1989.

Manager is Honest and spends the time to talk to you which is a rare combination these days.Only business in tasmania i have found that can source European Hardstyle/CORE/Gabber musicwhich is Amazing!Give this store a call if there is a Record, Movies or really anything you need.~I am not affiliated with this store.

Total ripoff. Avoid. The manager seems like a decent guy at first, but in truth he doesn't care about his customers at all. He sold me a used item for a price much-much higher than it costs to buy the same one brand new. He convinced me it was a rare item -- which it is evidently not. And all this after I had supported his small business enthusiastically. Dishonest and opportunist. Stay away, unless you're looking for a bad deal.

Quite the unique and expansive collection of books, DVD's and music. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable with several books that can be hard to find elsewhere. I found everything to be very reasonably priced for an independent bookstore. Why go to EBay or Amazon when you can support local business?

Great place to shop can be a bit of bomb zone. But have a huge range of DVDS CDS BOOKS ETC staff know were things are if you struggle just ask and they are happy to help. As to another review saying second hand dvds $30 total rubbish they have been $10 for years and season dvds second hand $15. And contains 3 dvds.
